I don;t like Alonso, but would like to see him in a Ferrari. Reckon he'd be quite quick. Hope he fits with the team though coz if he doesn't, he won't think twice about actively ruining them!

Awesome Lewis, making lemonade... he he

whytep
Posted 19/06/2009 @ 19:20

Ferrari is the focus of Max's attacks because they know the most about what the FIA's been up to for the last couple of decades (buddy buddy for most of it)... No wonder Max is a little worried...

whytep
Posted 19/06/2009 @ 19:17

Its more about Max and the boys losing ALL FOTA TEAMS than them just losing Ferrari. I reckon they could give it a go without Ferrari if all the others caved. Fortunately the FOTA teams seem quite committed to their principles and hopefully will see their way to a significantly better run championship where fairness, transparency and good racing become the focus again...

whytep

Didn't seem the brightest comment ever... He doesn't seems to get that the new series would be more of a top formula than Bernie and Max's version...

whytep

The dude is a phenomenal driver and I reckon Heiki's form is true to the potential of the car. I only hope he manages a comeback in the next season (if there is one). I guess thats what you get for beating Ferrari to the title...

whytep
Posted 14/06/2009 @ 15:37

last year Lewis raced like a champ whilst comparable cars were competing with him. This year, Button is walking away without any real competition. Thats why Lewis is a deserving WC and buttons imminent WC is a little more suspect. Lewis haters come across so immature it amazes me. Their arguments a baseless and without logic. Sa really.

whytep
Posted 06/05/2009 @ 10:25

Exciting times in F1 - Lets see what our team can do with such a difficult start... Great work so far considering the baseline we started with.

If Mclaren goes, I and a lot of people will go with them! Wonder what good this will do the sport, the FIA and every other person passionate about Formula 1 racing... Bernie and Max have made a right mess of this situation, forcing it to the point of been such a high profile issue that it can't be dealt with as routine! Real shame...

whytep
Posted 06/04/2009 @ 12:30

Time for Bernie to retire. Methinks he is suffering from short term memory loss coz clearly he doesn't remember Sundays fiasco...

whytep
Posted 06/04/2009 @ 12:10

Agree with Skinner - Smacks of "now we have another chance to smack Mclaren..." I think its pretty obvious that Mclaren as an organisation didn;t approve of the "mistake made" and took the neccesary steps. Taking this further is just simply pointless. Like little kids trying to show off....

whytep
Posted 03/04/2009 @ 14:52

doesn't matter who's fast and who's not. FIA will choose a race result a few days after the race as usual...

whytep
Posted 02/04/2009 @ 12:09

good luck Whitmarsh. The sport referee is against your team again. Only time you might get to keep your positions is if they are lower down than Ferrari's....

whytep

Is the most interesting thing we can find to talk about the Williams, its paint? lol

whytep
Posted 20/02/2009 @ 08:13

I like the way guys like Lewis keep the enjoyment of driving a cutting edge technology car in the game. Everyone's so flippin' sensitive in this game. The guys a young chap driving the fastest race car in the world - I love the fact that he's having fun while making everyone else look a little ordinary! I also like the fact that he's got enough confidence to drive the car at its limit and still have capacity to 'play' with all its gadgets at the same time...

whytep
Posted 13/02/2009 @ 10:33

FIA are a bunch of miserly thieves. I reckon there's enough money going around in the sport that this annoying gesture payment by the drivers need not be an issue. It is also clear that Max is simply making a point of not giving in to a GPDA request and thereby showing some form of weakness or exposure position. He's a real doofus! No drivers mean no races mean no money for the FIA. He knows it, the drivers know it and we know it! Wake up Max...

whytep
Posted 05/02/2009 @ 12:16

Ha ha ha. Ferrari start dropping the ball on pit stops and all of a sudden, "Lets ban re-fueling" ha ha ha ha...

whytep
Posted 05/02/2009 @ 12:13

Lewis doesn't need to race for the B team!! I reckon Max just doesn't want his cars to lose the championship again...

whytep
Posted 04/02/2009 @ 07:55

I agree with Hotstuff - Lets get an african race in S.A. Kyalami is a great track and could be raised to F1 standards without having to build a whole new track. Would be a huge amount of support...

whytep
Posted 26/01/2009 @ 13:40

fully agree with Ron regarding the need for impartiality in the FIA structures. Something that clearly missing currently.

whytep
Posted 25/01/2009 @ 18:04

Lewis is fantastic for F1 and Mclaren. Watch out boyz there's more to come from this lad... Lets hope we have no Ferrari bits and pieces holding our team back this year!!!

whytep
Posted 23/01/2009 @ 08:40

Its surprising that Bernie is prepared to disclose to the world the very real favouratism shown towards Ferrari. Its been obvious in the many rediculous on-track decisions that have been made and yet everyone allows it to go on! The fact that Lewis managed to take the title despite this is an unbelievable accomplishment! Bernie, Max and the boyz need to step aside if the sport is to survive. Shocking Bernie...

whytep
Posted 21/01/2009 @ 10:16

I reckon without the obviously flawed, second rate and outdated ferrari technology involved, the Mclaren's will be running circles round the red cars Robby!

whytep
Posted 21/01/2009 @ 10:15

I reckon Bernie and Max need to exit!

This is an awesome confirmation of what we've been saying for years. Thanks for finally coming out of the closet Bernie. I reckon the whole thing is really disappointing... For Mclren and Lewis to take the drivers title in the face of this is an incredible feat. Well done boys.

whytep

Frikkin' quit with the whining. Thats probably why nobody wants to talk to you. Making it to the very top takes all facets of a person into account. Be fast, be strategic and be consistent.

whytep

At least we will still have MotoGP as a formula where there is some exceptional machinery on display... Hate the fact that F1 is turning into a run-of-the-mill formula...

whytep

Alonso throwing in the proverbial towel would be the only reason I'd ever support the single engine rule... *grin*

whytep

Guess we'll see. I just don;t like the idea that the KERS system is making the cars look chunky and ugly. Maybe with time they'll evolve a bit!!

Excellent news - I may even mail a few old school letters just to spread the love.... Go Lewis...

whytep
Posted 06/11/2008 @ 14:47

Robson, you're such an obvious Hamilton hater. You must be really hacked-off that he beat everyone despite obvious Ferrari Bias/poorly construed judgements by the FIA stewards... I find it rather funny to see guys like you continue to show so much bravo in the face of such utter embarassing defeat!

whytep
Posted 06/11/2008 @ 11:11

Boo hoo Robson... Pure race cars are cars that can win - Ummmm, that would be Mclaren.

whytep
Posted 06/11/2008 @ 10:58

<- LH/Mclaren fan but also impressed with Massa's attitude. Can't be easy considering how close it all was.

whytep

I'm not sold on Heikki - If yer not hot out of the box generally your not hot! Hope for the best though...

whytep

If it were Mclaren doing the ol' swoperoo there would be investigations and penalties for sure... Disgusting!

whytep
Posted 15/10/2008 @ 12:38

Mclaren is leading the championship with two races to go! I reckon all the Ferrari whiners should hold their derogatory comments until their heavily FIA supported team is in the lead.

whytep
Posted 14/10/2008 @ 10:25

I with you spacedmansplif...

whytep
Posted 14/10/2008 @ 10:18

I reckon Lewis does an excellent job of communicating. The guy is decent, polite and speaks clearly. He certainly is entitled to his opinions just as all of you are entitled to yours. Show me somthing that he's said that, in context, was blatantly hurtful or worthy of the baseless, cynical hate out there for the guy... We all know its simply people who support other teams that don't like the fact taht the young guy is leading the championship again second time round...

whytep
Posted 13/10/2008 @ 18:17

I agree with the analysis above. In my book, one more point makes Lewis the world champ!

whytep
Posted 12/10/2008 @ 18:36

I understand supporting a team or driver. I have supported Mclaren for many years. There have been times when marginal calls have been made against us and which I have sucked up and said nothing. But this latest and obvious vendetta based, strategically planned and executed excercise of the FIA to do whatever it takes for Ferrari to win has crossed so many lines that I honestly take a look at the supporters of Ferrari who comment in here and reckon they must be completely insane or cracking jokes. There are calls that are marginal, harch and then completely insane and in the last few races we've seen a number of insane calls! Shouldn;t be tolerated when you consider the money consequences involved in these ridiculous decisions. I reckon F1 is dying at the hands of this poor showing by the FIA who should be regulating not rigging the sport. Shame on Bernie, Max and the boys in the FIA/Ferrari supporters club.

whytep
Posted 12/10/2008 @ 18:29

Massa is clearly one of the FIA's drivers and as such plays by the FIA limited edition rules! Very sad year for F1 and the way in which the FIA has rigged the outcomes over and over without any embarassment or apology. Disgusting.

whytep
Posted 12/10/2008 @ 18:25

I think its an amazing show of character from the Mclaren team that they don't take the whole damn FIA circus to court and sue for a massive amount of money, then get the hell outta such an obviously rigged competition. Credit to Ron and the boys...

whytep
Posted 12/10/2008 @ 12:46

Unbeliveable move by the stewards again! Not only do they dish out a totally inconsistent penalty for a 1st corner incedent where the guy penalised didn;t even hit anyone or cause any crash, but they also penalise Sebastian for Massa's mess up. How more obviously could the FIA say that they are Ferraries damage control institute... Time for a breakaway series...

whytep
Posted 30/09/2008 @ 11:32

Yeah sure.... All of a sudden when things don't go ferrari's way, it a circus... Whilst I agree the rule has to be looked at, its bloody anoying that the ferrari boys only seem to throw their toys when their team is made to look stupid!!

whytep
Posted 26/09/2008 @ 09:22

I have nothing against Massa but I reckon the FIA guys have made any victory he may get a shallow and undeserved one. We'll never really know how good he is coz of all the FIA bias thats helping the guy out. Ferrari and the undue exerting of their influence is making any good driving of Massa's look empty. Take a step back Ferrari/FIA and let your drivers do the talking...

whytep
Posted 26/09/2008 @ 09:12

Right behind ya buddy! All we ask for is a fair and square (no ferrari/FIA interventions) race...

whytep
Posted 23/09/2008 @ 16:40

Lets all sidestep the real issue as usual and make sure that Mclaren stay unjustly screwed. Great job Ferrari and FIA, mission accompliashed as usual. Really proud of yer tactics (if ya can't build a fast enough car, just make sure you're the referee!!)

whytep
Posted 23/09/2008 @ 16:37

F1 is a farce. Blatant pre-planned show which ends with Ferrari winning one way or the other. Its an embarassment for any logical, sane person to be led to believe that we are watching racing! Well done FIA and Ferrari, you guys are really managing to pull the wool over the world's eyes... Bunch of deceivers...

whytep
Posted 23/09/2008 @ 16:33

Another dodge by the almighty and deceitful FIA boys... What an embarassing bunch of kids... Guess the championship is destined to be dictated FIA & Ferrari regardless of the blatancy of the bias...

whytep
Posted 23/09/2008 @ 16:30

Looks like the FIA have managed once again, in the face of obvious bias (even been caught out as been blatantly dishonest, to screw one over on the Mclaren boys. It seems the stick with which all Mclaren supporters are been beaten away from F1 is growing larger every day! Pity, used to be the best sport in teh world...

whytep
Posted 15/09/2008 @ 12:47

Oska? Can you speak english buddy or at least finish your sentences...? Geez, must be a ferrari supporter!

whytep
Posted 13/09/2008 @ 11:55

The guy is a seasoned public speaker, businessman and strategist who has successfuly navigated his way through many very tricky and difficult waters - This 'speech' leaves me with no further comfort as to the impartiality of the FIA and Max and his boys and the only time I will feel in vindication of this rediculous ruling is if the penalty is 100% overturned.... Nice try though Max!

whytep
Posted 12/09/2008 @ 12:15

Lewis is a clear champion. Will be great to have such a young guy, pretty new to F1, smacking that annoying grin off all the Ferrari boys faces who have cheated so hard and for so long for all their past victories...

whytep
Posted 12/09/2008 @ 12:08

Conspiracy 'theory'?. How many blatant acts of pro-ferrari behaviour do we have to endure before the world sees the FIA and its behaviour for what it is? A subjective, biased, Ferrari supporting entity prepared to do whatever it takes, no matter how stupid it may look, to ensure the odds are loaded in Ferarri's favour. I'm a little sick of it all and reckon the teams should re-visit the breakaway series where it may be possible to have an impartial body governing the series... Disgusted, angry but not surprised... Sis...

whytep
Posted 10/09/2008 @ 16:53

Hey Sandi boy - I assume you're a ferrari boy in which case I'd be very careful of talking about 'team mates jumping out of the way'... Ferrari has never hidden the fact that they play the team orders game and their drivers have never been opposed to pulling an underhand move if it suits them... Hypocrites...

whytep
Posted 10/09/2008 @ 16:51

Great attitude as always... For now just, suck it up and whip them in the next race...

whytep
Posted 10/09/2008 @ 16:49

Hey DumforceuraDrag, Lewis is in his second season... Lets watch the story of 'this kid' unfold and I'll happily watch you and yours alike, eat your words... Only maybe, with a lot more FIA intervention on ferrari's behalf, will he be stopped!

whytep
Posted 09/09/2008 @ 10:29

Sir Jackie Stewart - Alot of people are behind this suggestion! All we want is some professional, impartial expertise deciding on matters of huge importance in the way F1 races are overseen and managed. Not a lot to ask when considering the massive investments at stake and the passion with which the sport is supported by millions. sure enough we will all have to bear the burden of calls that go aginst out teams, but it would be easier to stomache if the calls seemed justifiable and if they were been made by seasoned, experienced, experts...

whytep
Posted 09/09/2008 @ 10:20

The team has to appeal. The penalty is not sensible nor fair and would create a precedent which could see the sport further made in processional racing if it were not addressed. Some of the best racing we've seen in a while.... and they decide to kill the moment with a penalty - Ridiculous...

whytep
Posted 09/09/2008 @ 10:15

The team, sponsors and general F1 supporters deserve a clear, rule-based, unbiased explanation as to how the stewards saw fit to impose such a severe and championship-critical penalty against Lewis. This cloak and dagger nonsense has to stop!

whytep
Posted 09/09/2008 @ 10:00

I agree with Alan and Sabz here. F1 has become a very one-sided show favouring the Ferrari crowd. I think the stewards have exercised poor judegment once again and brought the good old FIA back into the limelight for the wrong reasons. Very tough call on Lewis, once again, and great for Ferrari, once again...
