I have to admit, i have followed prodrive closelly for a number of years and there are few companies out there with the technical know how as far as drive trains gearboxes etc goes. They could be quite good in F1. not so sure bout the rest though.

FOTA have something up their sleeve and i'm dying to know what. I'm pretty sure with a breakaway series, Lola and Brabham will follow the breakaway series rather. I cant imagine anyone watching this sh*t if the top teams actually withdraw and surelly they can see that?

F14Life
Posted 04/06/2009 @ 13:11

Fairplay: The FIA dont own the name "formula 1" or "F1". Bernie does.

F14Life

The Spanish circuit is notorious for lax security. After last years faisco you would think that they would have been on the look out for this sort of thing. However even after the idiot was shown on screen management did nothing so thanks, take the race away from them, they were warned!

Well written, enjoyed that. Junior i have to say drove a good race (stayed away from any imovable objects) and KR, bless his cotton running socks must have been overjoyed to bring some points home. Watching Massa drive was agony, he looks as comfortable in that car as i do falling down stairs. BBC coverage is a tad scary, Johnathan talking about KR while we are staring at a yellow helmet in the cockpit made me wonder if the man has a TV screen in front of him or is just using binoculars. All in all a good race. Not so keen on the Bahrain circuit though, aerial work by the choppers was good but dear good its a drab place! LH seems to be doing his best to stay out of the limelight and had a few good moves in the race. 4th with a car like that was well done. The Brawn cars impressed me no end, the stability under braking and grip in the corners kept my eyes open for the rails the car was running on. Bring on Spain!

F14Life

F14Life
Posted 03/04/2009 @ 12:01

You lot seem to forget that decisions like these are not made by the driver. Thats why the Race Director was suspended. Lewis would have been briefed on what to say and what not and the team decision would have stood. Now he is paying the price for McLaren's stupidity.

F14Life
Posted 24/03/2009 @ 14:08

Alonso fight? he cant fight his way out of a wet paper bag. Him and Kimi will be crying into the same hankie come end of the season when they both have to go drive go karts again. the only fighting will be between him and Hamilton at the rear of the grid. Kinda like old days then ;)

why care what robson even says? he hasnt got an effing clue what he's talking bout anyway. However, one statement is correct, i think next season will be more wide open, its the biggest rule changes in a while and i'm hoping for a few supprises :)

F14Life
Posted 25/11/2008 @ 11:05

F14Life

sydjed: He's not driving the F1 car. and if you dont like it, don't watch it. I went to last years ROC and it was fantastic, hence have bought my ticket for this years show again. Its about the cars and what the drivers can do with them. Take your LH hatred and rather go fishing if you dont want to watch.

I can see the headlines now: "Hamilton beaten by a bicycle!" or " The only way he could win is against a bicycle". Which one do you think the Lewis haters will go for? Sadly, would have rather seen him up against Andy Priaulx as they have very similiar driving styles.

F14Life
Posted 18/11/2008 @ 15:32

Whahahah!! OMF, he's lost it. Wonder if we can have him booked into the looney bin? And robson, i wouldnt put it past the FIA to try and make it retrospective. idiot.

F14Life
Posted 18/11/2008 @ 11:59

"Overall, to simplify things, I think the slick tyres will give us lap time in the low-speed corners and because of the reduced downforce we'll be slower at high speeds." <--- um...reduced downforce will make you slower at high speeds? WTF? did i miss something?

F14Life

Loeb in at 8... interesting. Is this test really just for fun? Anyone know?

F14Life
Posted 15/11/2008 @ 18:07

Should be interesting. I follow WRC closely and he is a very good driver. Two completelly different styles of driving required but it should be good either way. Also a very outspoken flamboyant character so some of the Lewis haters might find someone else to moan about ;) wouldn't that make a nice change.

F14Life
Posted 14/11/2008 @ 15:04

Best of luck guys, but i hope the days of F1 being just a two horse race every season is over. Would be good to sea one of the other teams giving Ferrari and Mclaren a run for their money. oh, and robson, before you make a stupid comment. STFU.

F14Life

F14Life
