So biso your a Scottish aerobics instructor? and very good at stating facts but only after they've happened, Jane Fonda would be well chuffed!

race
Posted 17/07/2009 @ 07:52

He didn't make an impression as the car is rubbish, a change now keeps them in the news, will the new kid be any better, no, Seb's past achievements are more than most current F1 drivers put together, face just didn't fit?

race

Top Man

race
Posted 16/07/2009 @ 11:00

End of the Ferrari favour era to the beginning of a new Ferrari favoured era, oh dear, this last few months have been the most refreshing in years and see how they've cried! you did your best Max.

race
Posted 15/07/2009 @ 11:16

Go Webbo!

race
Posted 15/07/2009 @ 11:15

He's probably had enough of mid' field?

race
Posted 15/07/2009 @ 07:17

No doubt so will your sponsors!

race
Posted 15/07/2009 @ 07:16

Oh dear he'll learn!

race
Posted 15/07/2009 @ 07:15

Really?

race
Posted 14/07/2009 @ 11:01

Difficult to beat if the others where driving pedal cars? or maybe a bit of spin needed for the German press!

race
Posted 13/07/2009 @ 07:56

Bad luck Brawn, you'll be back!

race
Posted 13/07/2009 @ 07:52

Nice one Webbo!!!

race
Posted 12/07/2009 @ 03:13

Coffi Annon would find FOTA too hot to handle, shut up or put up, court cases, cheating and bickering are cheap headlines.

race
Posted 12/07/2009 @ 03:09

Of cause all the extra weight will be fuel not heavier body work or ballast? get real, change in the weather light is better old skool!

race
Posted 05/07/2009 @ 02:41

Bernie has an opinion and isn't scared to us it!

race
Posted 30/06/2009 @ 01:44

Nice to read such ever positive English comments!

race
Posted 29/06/2009 @ 01:52

amoore Fully aware of proposed rulings, very much in my interest to know. 1.No one team is more important than F1. 2.A proposed alternative calender without rights, licence or funding? 3.The presumtion all billion $$ sponsors would go into the unknown with them? 4."Self governing" competitors? 5. Manufacturers sell to you on their cache of F1 involvement, they come and go, F1 doesn't. KERS was a leveller, something all teams that developed took great pride with in their marketing, it's inception difficult granted, but the theory should be tested, we do pride ourselves on our advanced technology? All such ideas make a two tier championship rather realistic, after all this single one doesn't seem to see Force India winning much? Same series racing, no that's not F1, but to act to reduce cost in this day and age is it such a crazy idea? Proposals that bring in new teams. Max and Bernie are the boss, no one likes the boss. My definition of, "genious" doesn't mention having criminal background, vast salaries, lavish lifestyles, if you want to put your sunday afternoon entertsinment in their hands thats your opinion you're welcome to it! Luca can keep up the bickering and smug attitude, sort of shows who's the boss though really and it ain't him! Easy to disagree with Max and Bernie, very difficult to prove wrong.

race
Posted 28/06/2009 @ 03:29

Totally agree. FOTA shmota, FIA run an F1 championship. Adhere to those rules or do something else, that's "do", not "threaten" to do. FIA rule like a rod of iron otherwise the Luca's or Flavio's will rape it for every self centred cent!

race
Posted 28/06/2009 @ 03:24

Go Nico! nice to see some spirit from a great, serious, focused, in-it-to-race and proud to be, F1 team!

race
Posted 27/06/2009 @ 09:49

Are you really sure Luca? really? why not give up the smugism instead and concentrate on convincing the FIAT board you are still a serious competitor?

race
Posted 26/06/2009 @ 09:16

In Lucas world he's a god, in the real world he's the oldsest swinger in town with a bad hair cut. Go Max!

race
Posted 26/06/2009 @ 00:29

Puppets!

race
Posted 25/06/2009 @ 12:01

Very apt Mr Mappy!

race
Posted 25/06/2009 @ 02:18

You know you've got a dog of a car when Hungray is a good prospect!

race
Posted 25/06/2009 @ 02:16

What a suprise, I won't be eating my hat!

race
Posted 23/06/2009 @ 03:05

If it happens I will eat my hat!

race
Posted 23/06/2009 @ 02:34

That's rich coming from Crusty!

race
Posted 23/06/2009 @ 02:33

His house isn't up to much, a dump.

race
Posted 22/06/2009 @ 11:03

Not true!

race
Posted 22/06/2009 @ 01:11

Quality!

race
Posted 22/06/2009 @ 01:10

As any Button hatter would say, "Only good from the front of the grid!" but no the cars bad that's right. Shame such great drivers have to rely on a car.

race
Posted 19/06/2009 @ 11:14

As Bernie own's the rights to the name F1 and pretty much everything else they've lost half their name, a great start for TA, good luck!

race
Posted 19/06/2009 @ 01:41

Ah it would be a sad loss and a sha............................no I can't keep a straight face!!!!!!

race
Posted 18/06/2009 @ 01:54

Go Nige! Legend! drive at Le Mans please!

race
Posted 16/06/2009 @ 02:22

He can be a very nice person but being told you are the best from an early age hasn't done him any favours, he was a tool in other peoples aspirations, now only he himself can pick up the pieces and become a respected competitor, his fans won't mind either way and good for them, a bit early with the autobiography though!

race
Posted 14/06/2009 @ 09:31

It was hype Lewis, you must have believed it too!

race
Posted 09/06/2009 @ 10:26

Nice one radweld, totally wrong!

race
Posted 09/06/2009 @ 01:15

That will mean he's just a driver then? he'll love it down the back, great racing, you never see on TV, all part of it the F1 experience.

race
Posted 09/06/2009 @ 01:13

Jenson was there before and appears to be there after Hamilton, I can't hear 80,000 voices asking for refunds as Lewis isn't lucky anymore.............? Go Jense! Britain should be proud as it has 2 great drivers, funny, typical enough it languishes in past glories as apposed to aspiring to new ones?

race
Posted 09/06/2009 @ 01:06

When all the "new stars" have given up. 2nd in the Championship and still wants it bad. Go Rubens!

race
Posted 08/06/2009 @ 04:31

Unlucky, bad start system error, see you next time!

race
Posted 08/06/2009 @ 04:28

Cool! good work!

race
Posted 07/06/2009 @ 10:33

Respect to the previous Dennis-ed drivers who kept a degree of hope for the fans and sponsors knowing a substandard car, welcome to F1 lewis.

race
Posted 05/06/2009 @ 00:49

Well is he going to have to rely on Glock being on the wrong tyres like a true better than any other that came before that graced a steering wheel champion.........?

race
Posted 05/06/2009 @ 00:46

Go Max! let's see the colour of their money, they'll jump at it with all the big talk you get from FOTA!

race
Posted 04/06/2009 @ 01:04

These boys know how to race!

race
Posted 03/06/2009 @ 01:46

Correct. Bernie and Max are proud parents of F1, firm handed at times but they are dealing with a lot of spoilt children.

race
Posted 01/06/2009 @ 10:40

Go Alex! a true gent and a real talent!

race
Posted 30/05/2009 @ 00:51

Fishbone, you are right, as negotiations go that was a beauty, the new cap is 200 million less than 3 years ago and should now be near the cost of running a GT program. The fact Ferrari have had a suspected, now confirmed and now abolished strangle hold on it's governing body also means any new competitors can enter on a level-ish playing field, shame for Toyota, ask Trulli for a refund!

race
Posted 29/05/2009 @ 09:28

As negotiations go you got to hand it to Max, that's less than half the current budgets, and tidying up the loose Ferrari arrangements too and they think they've won by taking a stand look and learn.

race
Posted 28/05/2009 @ 01:56

Hamilton can't lead a team he needs an experienced driver used to poor cars to push and develop them like Alonso, no that wouldn't work! Rosberg would be a gamble but a good one!

race
Posted 28/05/2009 @ 01:49

Lol! Max_Headroom, It looked like the flag arrangement was a bit cheap, shame in this current economic climate that Monaco is hit so hard!

race
Posted 28/05/2009 @ 01:46

Yes but win what? Scrapheap Challenge?

race
Posted 28/05/2009 @ 01:44

Good for you Frank, nice to see someone making one of those decision things.

race
Posted 28/05/2009 @ 01:42

In his own unequivocal fashion, Flab-v, really means more the merrier! Why not just concentrate on Renault, they need it!

race
Posted 27/05/2009 @ 11:23

Nothing wrong with Nick, BMW F1 are simply not delivering for him.

race
Posted 27/05/2009 @ 11:19

Win at Silverstone, why not!

race
Posted 27/05/2009 @ 11:17

Nico's a great driver and has honoured Williams, when he gets a good car he will be formidable with the experience he's gained, if he goes the Mclaren route I hope he's treated fair. I hope he wins in a Williams!

race
Posted 26/05/2009 @ 01:51

there are 14 races left for all the teams struggling because they went the wrong way with diffusers. Toyota didn't and how bad are they, could it, would it, may it be, something other than the diffuser?????? Well you all chase your tails and Brawn GP will wrap it all up, smile if you're winning!

race
Posted 26/05/2009 @ 01:48

Go Brawn GP Go Jenson Go Rubens and GPUNSALAN just go.....

race
Posted 26/05/2009 @ 01:44

It's a sign the car works well round the most technically demanding circuit, just need to get more speed into the faster ones, good for them, great for Kimi!

race
Posted 26/05/2009 @ 01:41

There where a lot of warnings on the radio, shame Massa was singled out, the FIA are watching!

race
Posted 26/05/2009 @ 01:40

Monaco proves yet again, experience counts, Rubens would have won if Jense hadn't, shame to see the new "stars" crashing out, they'll learn. Rubens = quality!

race
Posted 26/05/2009 @ 01:37

Good for them nice to see an honest team going about it's business.

race
Posted 21/05/2009 @ 00:58

Seem's like the Ferrari bottom wiping days are over, you could see it coming late last year, good!

race
Posted 21/05/2009 @ 00:53

Four teams have radical new parts, if anybody's interested in the Monaco GP ??????????????????

race
Posted 21/05/2009 @ 00:50

Well you may actually beat someone other than Force India?

race
Posted 21/05/2009 @ 00:48

Taking a leaf from the Mclaren book of PR, if the cars rubbish just grab some headlines!

race
Posted 21/05/2009 @ 00:46

Some may say you've had your day too!

race
Posted 20/05/2009 @ 13:49

ciao!

race
Posted 20/05/2009 @ 00:50

I'm sure the long suffering sponsors are pleased to read that!

race
Posted 19/05/2009 @ 11:39

If Ferrari's exit loses a few fans, then they weren't F1 fans anyway!

race
Posted 19/05/2009 @ 01:35

I predict: You won't do very well....

race
Posted 18/05/2009 @ 10:21

Friday, market day. Robson, wear a red carnation! at the speed limit it's pedestrian wait until the circuit's closed!

race
Posted 17/05/2009 @ 02:27

See you ther Robson? A few of us want to shake your hand!

race
Posted 17/05/2009 @ 02:20

If you can't win on the track, if the rules are no longer made for you. Why not leave and dominate all other racing series and truely prove yourself, but then again that would mean amending all the rules to those and well that's never going to happen, your bed Ferrari............

race
Posted 17/05/2009 @ 02:14

hahahahhaha!!

race
Posted 17/05/2009 @ 02:13

Come on everybody let Renault and Ferrari win this whinging is just shamefull, funny though!!!!!!

race
Posted 17/05/2009 @ 02:11

Well it's you're "own terms" that have put F1 in the mess it's getting it's self out of, how interesting to see so many new competitors showing an interest when the high and mighty are seen for what they really are?

race
Posted 16/05/2009 @ 02:10

I've had a few FIATS too!

race
Posted 16/05/2009 @ 01:58

More teams better "show" let's hope FIAT have very deep pockets, nice to see the FIA standing up to them for a change.

race
Posted 16/05/2009 @ 01:52

Good point "pcornwell" a brand for sure, you either buy into it or not. Lewis has never had a team mate allowed to race him. They have certainly made hay for the team's and Lewis's success now's the hard bit to keep him up there in the dark ages, else people are actually going to see he's only a racing driver like all the others. Martin has provided, with others a solid foundation for DC to have always and to this day enough to keep him in the game.

race
Posted 15/05/2009 @ 11:57

Well I'm sure there are a few of your generation that actually are?

race
Posted 15/05/2009 @ 10:12

Come on in let me take your coat!

race
Posted 15/05/2009 @ 08:40

Retirement?

race
Posted 15/05/2009 @ 08:35

I'm sure FIAT will be pleased at that turn around then!

race
Posted 15/05/2009 @ 08:33

With Ferrari, Renault and Toyota gone, there's plenty of room, come on in enjoy!

race
Posted 14/05/2009 @ 08:23

No it wouldn't be a funny joke either, as we've heared it before.

race
Posted 14/05/2009 @ 01:33

Haven't they done well, well done Nick the constant hard work's payed off.

race
Posted 14/05/2009 @ 01:31

And lose Flavio? is there no justice in the world!

race
Posted 14/05/2009 @ 01:30

Place your bets......Budget cap raised, medals stay?

race
Posted 14/05/2009 @ 01:23

Truth is it's a good "out" for manufactures who can't hack it in difficult times, hence "we're not to blame it was them....."

race
Posted 14/05/2009 @ 01:19

Rochester, I've been to every GP since 1986 I can say that the Ferrari fan base isn't as big, people are glad to go and see a race in their own country Ferrari are an easy pick as they are red, and yes the last few seasons when they where nearly winning Bernie loaned them, but I do like "nit"!

race
Posted 13/05/2009 @ 11:42

A broken leg because the brakes failed................hahahahahaha oh dear! He threw it off because 2nd fiddle Eddie didn't jump out of the way, they'd fallen out, as Eddie was quicker than the legend that weekend.

race
Posted 13/05/2009 @ 09:54

Threaten to leave when you're losing, pleading poverty when you are, embaressing for their fans, both of them..........

race
Posted 13/05/2009 @ 09:51

Trust in the FIA they made it and it's stood the test of time so far a shake up might be a good thing.

race
Posted 13/05/2009 @ 00:30

Oh come on everybody, let them win, that's what usually happens when they threaten to leave.

race
Posted 13/05/2009 @ 00:27

When the going gets tough............

race
Posted 12/05/2009 @ 13:08

They have good memories!

race
Posted 12/05/2009 @ 09:48

It will be great to see another win! and the other stars handle the circuit in terrible cars!

race
Posted 12/05/2009 @ 09:45

You can't afford to leave, debate ends!

race
Posted 12/05/2009 @ 00:47

Look and learn!

race
Posted 11/05/2009 @ 03:55

A superb car, experienced drivers looking good for the Cote de zures Mr Brawn!

race
Posted 11/05/2009 @ 03:53

He'll be back!

race
Posted 11/05/2009 @ 03:51

Racism? a plaque, a girlfriend, a terrible car and no points not a great weekend?

race
Posted 11/05/2009 @ 03:49

Just shows how much he wants it and that Ross Brawn what a brain? to workout that you'd be lapping Lewis's Mclaren right down the main straight infront of the grandstands, classic!

race
Posted 11/05/2009 @ 03:46

Nice feeling for Red Bull F1 though, to be stuck behind a Ferrari!

race
Posted 11/05/2009 @ 03:44

I've a lot of respect for this guy, how gracious in defeat he was last year and how he drives this dog of a car with such conviction, I hope he has his day.

race
Posted 07/05/2009 @ 12:04

Go Jense, kick some more butt, people are loving it even if they aren't well who cares!

race
Posted 07/05/2009 @ 00:49

Is he going to drive for some one else then?

race
Posted 06/05/2009 @ 12:26

Out with the old, in with the new!

race
Posted 06/05/2009 @ 02:03

Oh well you think Mclaren will be bad let's check out Ferrari can't wait for Monza the dwindling audience is somewhat passionate!

race
Posted 05/05/2009 @ 01:56

LAUDA-" At the end of the day, it's likely to get dark.."

race
Posted 05/05/2009 @ 01:55

I don't think people thought it would end there, did they?

race
Posted 05/05/2009 @ 01:53

It should be divided up and given to the 3 teams that finish in the last 3 spots of the constuctors championship. Chances are Ferrari will then get a slice which will please them, well as much as Ferrari can be pleased, if the Ferrari board ever find out an F1 team can be run for less how safe is honest Luca's job!!! They shouldn't give it to Brawn though, oh no, what's he ever done for F1? and stepping in and saving jobs, a team, providing fresh entertainment for the sport through, well, just racing really, he'll learn that isn't the way F1 works he hasn't had his good name dragged through the courts yet, he's so green! Go Bernie tie a few more weights on to Max's good work!

race
Posted 05/05/2009 @ 01:39

Ferrari helped Bernie in the early days so we are constantly reminded of his favouritism, not really demonstrating a level playing field to any potential investors or new coming teams another masterstroke! The days of no expense spared racing are gone for a while, make the best of what you've got!

race
Posted 03/05/2009 @ 01:34

Are Ferrari leaving F1 again!

race
Posted 03/05/2009 @ 01:26

Mr Dennis will know they wouldn't even exist without him, enough said.

race
Posted 02/05/2009 @ 02:33

The "we need Ferrari days" are gone they "need" F1. Unless they start running Le Mans every fortnight?

race
Posted 02/05/2009 @ 02:30

Alonso could drive for them he's won championships already just for the prestige. Any young driver would be mad they are on the way down!

race
Posted 01/05/2009 @ 11:17

The Legend!

race
Posted 30/04/2009 @ 02:51

lemmy looks like he'll get a team together!

race
Posted 29/04/2009 @ 02:09

A great driver, matured nicely will be a fine Champion!

race
Posted 29/04/2009 @ 02:03

If not that the next 13 will!

race
Posted 29/04/2009 @ 02:00

With the success of other but by no means less professional racing formulae, together with F1's constant political fallouts, a shake-up and budget cap will bring back the days of, many cars, many teams, many jobs and indeed a few butt kickings to the old guard, bring it on!

race
Posted 29/04/2009 @ 01:54

Richard who?

race
Posted 29/04/2009 @ 01:52

Heads down and they do it with no bitching and moaning long may it continue!

race
Posted 29/04/2009 @ 01:51

Absolutely!

race
Posted 28/04/2009 @ 00:36

I want to see Mclaren, Renault, BMW, Ferrari etc etc all sharing wins and podiums it would be great for the sport, credit to Brawn though and Rubens too is showing real class... funny though if this had actually been Hamilton's first season? you all seem to follow a false god!

race
Posted 27/04/2009 @ 12:10

Looks like you're better off there than Ferrari Fernando!

race
Posted 27/04/2009 @ 00:23

Best all the rules are changed so you win again then, sorry boys those favours have been all used up, get the budget cap in place and all the old names will be back, cool!

race
Posted 27/04/2009 @ 00:19

Superb drive! a credit to the sport, Go Seb!

race
Posted 27/04/2009 @ 00:16

So the contract's watertight then!

race
Posted 27/04/2009 @ 00:14

Winners are grinners!

race
Posted 27/04/2009 @ 00:12

Bannor he passed the Force India! I bet they where chuffed to be racing Ferrari!

race
Posted 27/04/2009 @ 00:10

Superb overtake, well deserved win go Jenson!

race
Posted 27/04/2009 @ 00:08

That was a champions drive to bring that car back in the points, well done Kimi!

race
Posted 23/04/2009 @ 01:53

And don't write off Kimi Mr Couthard! he did beat you every time!

race
Posted 23/04/2009 @ 01:51

Go Fernando! but don't Go to Ferrari unless they improve the current bucket.

race
Posted 19/04/2009 @ 23:48

Well said Sir Jibby!

race
Posted 19/04/2009 @ 23:47

Great result Newey will deliver the goods I'm sure just start doing it in the dry!

race
Posted 19/04/2009 @ 23:45

A lesson in how to behave in the public eye.

race
Posted 19/04/2009 @ 23:36

Yes points for "your" team, you still owe them a constructors title.

race
Posted 19/04/2009 @ 23:34

Great race great result!

race
Posted 19/04/2009 @ 23:30

You did well to take third and fourth quality.

race
Posted 19/04/2009 @ 23:27

It's certainly frosty!

race
Posted 19/04/2009 @ 00:49

Well deserved!

race
Posted 18/04/2009 @ 00:27

Dave Copperfield might be the only one to help. Dave Ryan has earned a fine retirement, he's provided you with some fine racing you haven't really enjoyed Robson!

race
Posted 17/04/2009 @ 11:41

What a nice man it's hard to see why people don't like him?

race
Posted 17/04/2009 @ 10:21

I'm astonished he's astonished and astonishingly he's incharge, well for now.

race
Posted 17/04/2009 @ 10:16

I like this guy! you where right the first time! can't wait for the next Ferrari spat, "we'll leave....go then"

race
Posted 16/04/2009 @ 11:41

Sorry, last of the old boys at Mclaren.

race
Posted 16/04/2009 @ 09:41

Something to prove, he's only driven nearly 10 seasons!

race
Posted 16/04/2009 @ 09:36

I've known Ross for 22 years pasikuikka, have you? I worked in those Tyrrell sheds. did you? Tantrums hell yea!

race
Posted 16/04/2009 @ 09:30

End of an era he's a legend, but he done good! The last of the old boys, enjoy your new life!

race
Posted 16/04/2009 @ 02:10

Gordan.. Ferrari have made an F1 career out of it! some might say F1 has made a career out of them but those days have gone now. It rubs off on their "fans/punters" too, who spend their money traveling the world to be let down, generally they would be let down by a $1,000,000 on Christmas day anyway so you'll never win!

race
Posted 16/04/2009 @ 01:59

rej1972 my love for Alonso goes without saying cheeky!

I'm pleased to Trulli it was a great drive, the pride of Britain thought nothing of selling you down the river, team orders or not he ain't that green.

race
Posted 16/04/2009 @ 01:40

Long established F1 names tantrums for being slow beaten by a new team, could it get any better!

race
Posted 15/04/2009 @ 10:22

who'd have thought!

race
Posted 15/04/2009 @ 09:39

A new diffuser a wing and a prayer!

race
Posted 15/04/2009 @ 01:47

Go Mallya! difficult times and this guy keeps the thing going with no court case, FIA summons, good for him!

race
Posted 15/04/2009 @ 01:44

Well what else can he say? A fast circuitit'll show a few up again, lol! "Honest" Hamilton will have to get out and do his own tyre changes if they sack anyone else, Ferrari have some magic beans so they'll be OK, BMW can try and blame everyone else for being, well what can you say, boring. Go Brawn, Toyota, Williams, Red Bull go Force India for that matter!

race
Posted 15/04/2009 @ 01:36

The result will go like this Formula 1 - Diffuser 3. Renault, Red Bull, BMW like Ferrari's points so far zero.

race
Posted 15/04/2009 @ 01:28

A faster car would be nice too!

race
Posted 15/04/2009 @ 01:26

Go Nige! Ferrari do what they do best complain, "working group""spirit of the rules" if you think they'd adhere to either if they had an advantage then you are "supremely deluded" How do we think it's going to go down? and the Mclaren case? well with the stand down before the first race, my guess, not their way. The two big players who have caused so much trouble in the past are now over the FIA barrel of their own wishes, Bernie and Max are just out finding some big sticks!

race
Posted 15/04/2009 @ 00:40

Go Jenson! nice to have some good machinery to fight in!

race
Posted 14/04/2009 @ 11:44

Strange how so much research work is done on the brakes though Bob?

race
Posted 14/04/2009 @ 11:40

Proven legal to race, fact get over youselves you look like losers!

race
Posted 14/04/2009 @ 11:34

Back to the dark ages?

race
Posted 14/04/2009 @ 02:31

ILLKIDD you said it! throw in a PS3 and he'll be chairman!

race
Posted 14/04/2009 @ 02:22

I think F1 has become a little "Hamilton-heavy" it's refreshing to see other drivers, equally as good have a shot, he's had a good run many ups, these be the downs, that everyone else has suffered for so long. Go to Force India Lewis, make them a winning team prove yourself.

race
Posted 14/04/2009 @ 02:16

Csr073 you said it, Ferrari cry like babies when it doesn't go their way, never their fault? not the behaviour you'd expect of such a distinctive marque, Mclaren too but they seem to be selfdestructing very well on their own but hey it makes me laugh! get over it. Go Jenson!

race
Posted 13/04/2009 @ 10:23

The 7th story I've read now with no mention of Lewis Hamilton, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

race
Posted 13/04/2009 @ 01:24

Go Nico! it will be well deserved.

race
Posted 13/04/2009 @ 00:50

FERRARI ARE GREAT, FERRARI ARE GREAT.........not really justs testing the editorial, theory it this one WILL get posted.

race
Posted 12/04/2009 @ 12:19

Thanks Ralf and yes we did want fries.........

race
Posted 12/04/2009 @ 12:14

Poor Rory since the talents gone the ferrari seems to be going backwards but a least you can still call Ross a friend.

race
Posted 12/04/2009 @ 02:28

He needs a holiday, he has been busy!

race
Posted 12/04/2009 @ 02:23

Reading between the lines, Mclaren may want Lewis gone? let's put that out there!

race
Posted 11/04/2009 @ 06:03

If Ryan was towing the company line and was sacked because of it, why would he want to be there? Happy holidays Dave see you in NZ!

race
Posted 10/04/2009 @ 09:34

Excellent Jackie always on the cusp of yesterdays news.

race
Posted 10/04/2009 @ 01:24

An ex f1 driver telling a team to put full wets on a car when the track is bone dry, no I don't think it was him either, still got to blame someone, say Dave Ryan did it he's taking the fall for most other things!

race
Posted 09/04/2009 @ 10:06

A small power gain to throw the braking balance out on corner entry? but that wouldn't matter if your not making it past the first corner anyway Robby.

race
Posted 09/04/2009 @ 10:01

The "Understatment of the Year Award 2009" goes to....

race
Posted 09/04/2009 @ 10:00

Go Toyota!

race
Posted 09/04/2009 @ 09:59

What, Lewis "I'll never leave" Hamilton? so was that a lie too then? See ya, get Rosberg or Vettel.....

race
Posted 08/04/2009 @ 01:22

This runs deeper than Dave Ryan, I feel sorry for him, he's been let down badly, they've created a monster in Mclaren it's lost touch with it's racing roots best of everything doesn't make it the best, honesty should count for something.

race
Posted 08/04/2009 @ 01:14

Montoya left F1 because he was bored of racing for 5th place. This kid has had the best of everything, a Mclaren prepared gokart for christ's sake! he has never contested a race in machinery that isn't up to winning, until now 2 races in and it's the end of the world, no respect for who put him where he is. Of course they'll try and improve the car, it's what they do, the motivation to do it for you though must be tough to generate.

race
Posted 07/04/2009 @ 12:14

It's a nice way of distancing Lewis from Mclaren, "It's not me it's them!"

race
Posted 07/04/2009 @ 11:09

Who is in charge?

race
Posted 07/04/2009 @ 10:33

Two laps later he would have been called a genius! I hope he drives again, maybe Mclaren!

race
Posted 07/04/2009 @ 10:28

If any team can weather a storm it's this one, win as a team lose as a team. The fact this story is out there, if there is any truth in it, it shows Lewis as an opportunist they can do without and someone they will take great pleasure in beating should he drive somewhere else.

race
Posted 06/04/2009 @ 11:37

Ha ha ha ha oh ha ha ha, don't worry Felipe the FIA will change the rules so Ferrari will win again, they usually do.

race
Posted 06/04/2009 @ 11:20

Cosy BBC, no advert coverage on at suitable not to inconvenient times, sweet. Outside of the UK the coverage around the world is Qualifying and the Race, no build up, no features, that's it. So the least F1 can do is consider the host countries hospitality and efforts running the race at "their" time, so the host broadcast can give, once a year, what the UK F1 fans get every fortnight.

race
Posted 06/04/2009 @ 08:27

A vote of confidence, would they get their investment out of Mclaren now? meeting? no crisis talks.

race
Posted 06/04/2009 @ 08:24

Two great drivers, terrible management.

race
Posted 06/04/2009 @ 08:21

Ross the Boss is back!

race
Posted 06/04/2009 @ 02:42

No...a word you haven't heared often enough Lewis, now be happy for everyone else and play nicely sharing.

race
Posted 05/04/2009 @ 00:55

Well it's good for all the "stars" of yesterday to run around in heavy cars and face all the problems Button has for the last five years. Will they have his patience? or will they after a while try and cheat some results? only time will tell................. Nice stop theories but ballast may not burn as well as fuel, a shocking car needs to be weighted up and then you take the fuel according to this Massa could be doing the Dakar!

race
Posted 05/04/2009 @ 00:36

thefasteddie.....you said it! Mercedes Benz won't do any harm to themselves with this partnership and a bit of distance from Mclaren might help too!

race
Posted 04/04/2009 @ 00:39

Go Heikki please show there is more to Mclaren than the other driver, new respect for this guy!

race
Posted 04/04/2009 @ 00:28

Go Ferrari! in the headlines for the right reason, well deserved!

race
Posted 04/04/2009 @ 00:26

Take some comfort in the latest Hamilton news 2007 all over again Fernando get well soon and feel vindicated!

race
Posted 03/04/2009 @ 23:48

They have a new diffuser.

race
Posted 03/04/2009 @ 23:47

Massa, Kimi, Rosberg, Webber, Button, Rubens............Just some of the other drivers involved in F1.

race
Posted 03/04/2009 @ 23:43

Ferrari, Williams, Brawn, Force India..........just some of the other teams that are also involved in F1.

race
Posted 03/04/2009 @ 10:44

NOT BEEN ENTIRELY TRUTHFUL enough said thanks champ!

race
Posted 03/04/2009 @ 07:56

Well this is all very well but are you saying that in the FIA meeting after the race they told a different story?

race
Posted 03/04/2009 @ 07:46

End or an era. I hope this news is not true.

race
Posted 02/04/2009 @ 10:09

Does this mean they will give the race win to Kubica, he did say he was going to win?

race
Posted 02/04/2009 @ 09:59

Well at least you weren't weaving this time!

race
Posted 02/04/2009 @ 09:57

Go Kimi! at least it looks like there may be sanother team worth going to now!

race
Posted 02/04/2009 @ 01:22

Agreed too harsh a 50/50 rookie error!

race
Posted 02/04/2009 @ 00:56

No TC, at least the new diffuser might help?

race
Posted 02/04/2009 @ 00:50

Is it because you've got a new one Martin?

race
Posted 01/04/2009 @ 08:27

Just seen it poor Trulli! remember Hamilton weaving behind a safety car anybody? they should get You Tube to film the race!

race
Posted 31/03/2009 @ 23:35

Isn't it his job?

race
Posted 31/03/2009 @ 23:34

The very thought, rules changed and favour toward Ferrari, is he mad.............probably just realistic unfortunately!

race
Posted 31/03/2009 @ 10:47

Kiss of death Bruno?

race
Posted 31/03/2009 @ 10:32

RESPECT!

race
Posted 31/03/2009 @ 10:11

200th win for a British driver.

race
Posted 31/03/2009 @ 10:10

And that other driver, he's got the slow car too!

race
Posted 30/03/2009 @ 23:30

Good for racing it will give the slower teams a chance, Force India, Mclaren, Ferrari well if their car does wet weather this year?

race
Posted 30/03/2009 @ 01:37

Yes don't take testing seriously, Brawn GP fastest in testing result 1-2 in Melbourne, you can see how confusing that might be to some viewers, it doesn't add up does it?

race
Posted 30/03/2009 @ 01:29

Kubica was going to win? Confidence is a good thing but be realistic as well mate.

race
Posted 30/03/2009 @ 01:21

And a lot of people crashed, fell off, broke down and where on the wrong tyres, business as usual then, keep blowing the trumpet though.

race
Posted 30/03/2009 @ 01:16

A perfect weekend! lot's of rookie errors, luck for Lewis, shame for Webbo but some great comedy from the pasta rockets, we did laugh.

race
Posted 28/03/2009 @ 23:58

No rules have ever been bent to benefit Ferrari in the past they are as honest as the day is long with no special treatment always win fairly..........................beep beep beep beep that'll be the alarm clock, time to stop dreaming and get up, some of us have a GP to work at!

race
Posted 28/03/2009 @ 07:56

here we go here we go here we go....................

race
Posted 28/03/2009 @ 07:55

Here we go here we go here we go............

race
Posted 27/03/2009 @ 22:25

They all wrote you off Jense, Hamilton was the nail in the coffin, stick it to 'em!

race
Posted 27/03/2009 @ 10:14

I'm sure you're lounge rooms not that bad Robson!

race
Posted 27/03/2009 @ 07:12

Go Webbo, a fatastic job by the boys to get the new exhaust on, wow you boys are good!

race
Posted 26/03/2009 @ 22:44

Wait until they see the new sponsor!!

race
Posted 26/03/2009 @ 22:41

Well it's all been said, Alonso got a slating, he was used, Lewis has had it all his own way too much too soon, now he's making the team look bad. Do the talking on the track Lewis, remember.

race
Posted 26/03/2009 @ 07:13

I will never leave, I said that too mate!

race
Posted 26/03/2009 @ 07:12

All that work and it still needed Glock to be on the wrong tyres? wow those sponsors must be well pleased

race
Posted 26/03/2009 @ 07:10

FOTA-schhmota!

race
Posted 25/03/2009 @ 22:00

You should try the new corolla...

race
Posted 25/03/2009 @ 21:57

COSTCUTTING? Lay off the test team, take on some more lawyers, just what the sport needs! What is it the FIA do again?

race
Posted 25/03/2009 @ 21:53

After years of out performing team mates in substandard cars, Mclaren, Sauber, he through no fault of his own is in a position last season that everyone writes him off? he's a World Champion and has more talent and motivation to win more than many other drivers.

race
Posted 25/03/2009 @ 08:58

It's a great car, great to see it beat a red one!

race
Posted 25/03/2009 @ 08:55

FOTA Schmmota!

race
Posted 25/03/2009 @ 08:20

I hope so too pure class!

race
Posted 25/03/2009 @ 08:14

Mclaren ballast front wing, I have no sympathy!

race
Posted 24/03/2009 @ 23:04

STRIKE! Yea that was Robson's idea! isn't Ron doing a good job of not being in charge these days? bring it on, Bernie will be laughing longest, he always does.

race
Posted 24/03/2009 @ 09:05

It should be a race and Robson's right Lewis is small news here.

race
Posted 24/03/2009 @ 09:03

oh dear the tail is now wagging the dog, Bernie will finish this for good.

race
Posted 23/03/2009 @ 23:34

I wonder where they would race if they did break away?

race
Posted 23/03/2009 @ 23:33

Great news, remember to keep the pace up during the race though!

race
Posted 23/03/2009 @ 23:31

No way, they have problems for sure.

race
Posted 23/03/2009 @ 22:57

There's nothing wrong with his motivation, a reliable car that works when it rains would be a start, but with Alonso chomping at the bit it's a buyers market?

race
Posted 22/03/2009 @ 22:18

It just doesn't wash, yes he's good, but that was the weakest Championship for many years. Was Kimi mouthing off the year before, no, he's quality. He's had it his way, Alonso shafted, Heikki under the thumb. Win this year Lewis, in an inferior car, then you have my utmost respect, and probably that of you're competitors, who I might add can't wait to race you this season!

race
Posted 22/03/2009 @ 00:15

If Ferrari had performed like Brawn GP in testing, then it would have gone through!

race
Posted 22/03/2009 @ 00:13

Nearest to the exit Ross! Go get 'em!

race
Posted 21/03/2009 @ 08:24

Simon Roberts the authority on F1, he must have been in it for nearly three yeers now!

race
Posted 20/03/2009 @ 22:04

He's got a point, but let's hope he doesn't work together with Glock so much this season?

race
Posted 20/03/2009 @ 22:01

FOTA agreed on something!?!?!?! and Ferrari didn't like it too, so that's a start.

race
Posted 20/03/2009 @ 21:59

The point is they could do it if they want to, so sort yourselves out!

race
Posted 19/03/2009 @ 23:13

Must be about an inch of rubber down now, it was looking tired last week!

race
Posted 19/03/2009 @ 23:12

7 times Champion excellent! Bye.

race
Posted 19/03/2009 @ 08:49

Better but not a success story, still, it's better than Ferrari!

race
Posted 19/03/2009 @ 08:24

Brawn's gone home.

race
Posted 18/03/2009 @ 09:30

Get over yourselves, you'll still watch it, it was joke last year, an expensive joke, F1 makes a point of saying it isn't going to race here or race there, truth is the world isn't that bothered anymore each country has it's own motorsport anyway, F1 needs to be worth it.

race
Posted 18/03/2009 @ 09:18

FOTA lovely idea, never agree on anything.

race
Posted 17/03/2009 @ 23:13

Brawn GP's pace is extremely genuine, he's a clever guy, Schumy would have been lost without him, his promise to Honda was to develop a new car and he did, I hope they do well and a win for winning Championship? who cares what tyres Glock's on!

race
Posted 17/03/2009 @ 12:28

Looking good for Brawn GP that's for sure!

race
Posted 17/03/2009 @ 11:54

Medals? winners win.

race
Posted 17/03/2009 @ 11:48

With a billion in the bank he may just stick to his Avon?

race
Posted 17/03/2009 @ 11:45

Who KERS they are very fast!

race
Posted 17/03/2009 @ 11:41

Rupinder, thank you.

race
Posted 16/03/2009 @ 21:35

There are many, take a small child, buy him the best of everything and don't let him do anything but, whether he'll want to pay to drive for you or find a serious contender is another matter?

race
Posted 16/03/2009 @ 21:27

It took nearly 100 laps but he got it, thats a double world champion for you!

race
Posted 16/03/2009 @ 00:18

Credit to Jenson and Rubens for sticking with it last season,Ross's development has paid off, broke Honda but that's the commitment, just what F1 needs.

race
Posted 15/03/2009 @ 07:24

See you there Robson my old mate, want to meet?

race
Posted 14/03/2009 @ 09:32

Or you are slow?

race
Posted 13/03/2009 @ 22:44

And the odds now, are?

race
Posted 13/03/2009 @ 22:43

Nice to see it turn round for Jens' no doubt we'll all be supporting him now, as Lewis can do his time at the back, way back, see if his hunger continues, doubtfull. Ross is no fool, Ferrari's loss is F1's gain!

race
Posted 13/03/2009 @ 22:37

Hamilton's never leaving though so that's something? Wow that Brawn's quick!

race
Posted 12/03/2009 @ 21:40

It would be good for the sport if the race results looked just like that!

race
Posted 12/03/2009 @ 21:36

If F1 returns to the USA, it should present itself in a humble fashion and not the ivory tower one trick pony show it did a few years ago which saw it fall flat on it's face, an embarrassment. Their racing may not be as technical but it provides constant entertainment that F1 promises but rarely delivers.

race
Posted 12/03/2009 @ 08:09

Ever honest and gracious,Kimi, the mark of a worthy champion. I bet Alonso can't wait to wipe a few smiles away!

race
Posted 11/03/2009 @ 23:15

I "hope" I win the lottery.

race
Posted 11/03/2009 @ 23:12

The chances of him winning another title are slim, Mclaren have prove how to drop the ball again and again, get it while you can mate, good for you. Looks a bit underwhelmed in the that picture though! Too much too soon?

race
Posted 10/03/2009 @ 21:53

There a few teams that have that spirit, Ross makes everyone feel part of it, all the time.

race
Posted 10/03/2009 @ 09:07

And therefore a discount from Mercedes!

race
Posted 10/03/2009 @ 06:24

Great to see it all come together, I hope some results come there way too, they've earned it!

race
Posted 09/03/2009 @ 07:00

Shame it's the only connection F1 has had with the US for a few years, well we did have that comedy race, that was a pleasure!

race
Posted 08/03/2009 @ 23:10

Thanks for the good times!

race
Posted 08/03/2009 @ 01:40

So many wrote you off, those armchair enthusiasts, bless'em! See you at the Park.

race
Posted 07/03/2009 @ 06:56

He's "earning" his reputation thats for sure!

race
Posted 07/03/2009 @ 06:55

Great news!

race
Posted 05/03/2009 @ 22:57

And maybe do a bit of racing too? Dirty washing, public? Bernie and Max sorted this stuff out for you in the past, we don't need to see it, just do it.

race
Posted 05/03/2009 @ 22:54

Them's your honest times, Lewis crashes trying too hard, a sign of things to come? Go webbo!

race
Posted 03/03/2009 @ 23:51

Easy to get bored and envious of the Hamilton machine, with it's resources he should win every race, he has backing a lot of the others can only dream of. Now he's World Champion, get over it, move on and beat him.

race
Posted 03/03/2009 @ 23:39

Good for him he carried Ferrari long enough!

race
Posted 02/03/2009 @ 22:59

Car looks good though!

race
Posted 02/03/2009 @ 22:57

Rosberg will be a perfect prospect for a team with a great car, speed and mid' pack experience? a racer.

race
Posted 02/03/2009 @ 22:55

Glock was on the right tyres.

race
Posted 02/03/2009 @ 22:54

The apprenticeship will help later on, for his own state of mind. Start fitness training when you are 100% fit, after the novelty has wotn off, where will the motivation come from? you are already at the top?

race
Posted 02/03/2009 @ 22:50

Well let's see the Hamilton "vapour" times and that will make you feel better!

race
Posted 02/03/2009 @ 22:48

Nice to hear a team boss enthusiastic for his driver, it's up to Heikki to perform too now.

race
Posted 28/02/2009 @ 09:13

Ferrari have sponsors lining up to sponsor Alonso!

race
Posted 28/02/2009 @ 09:09

An opinion from someone who has owned his own team is worth a listen?

race
Posted 27/02/2009 @ 09:35

Make sure you have somewhere decent to go first Nico!

race
Posted 26/02/2009 @ 02:13

Put Hamilton in it!

race
Posted 26/02/2009 @ 02:11

Well, he needs to, maybe it will silence his critics? It will be good to see how he goes close racing and how commited his competitors are or will we be holding position for safe points, as is the way these days?

race
Posted 24/02/2009 @ 23:31

Shame, he has a vision there that would benefit young talent.

race
Posted 24/02/2009 @ 09:04

Bows and Arrows?

race
Posted 24/02/2009 @ 09:03

He's got a point, some drivers are very funny but you'd never know it and some are arrogant and they wouldn't want to know it, hopefully the race will be the entertainment?

race
Posted 24/02/2009 @ 08:57

I hope they don't get the corner garage again?

race
Posted 24/02/2009 @ 08:56

Go mate! Sisu to the max!

race
Posted 21/02/2009 @ 08:51

I think most of the very clever people left a few years ago?

race
Posted 21/02/2009 @ 08:49

So why can't we have it before quarter past eight?

race
Posted 21/02/2009 @ 08:46

Lemmy looks bored.

race
Posted 21/02/2009 @ 08:45

There lays the problem, "A FOTA unanimous agreement." Brewery and a .......... FIA costcutting "saved" Williams, don't rely on the others Frank, make it happen yourself like you used to.

race
Posted 21/02/2009 @ 08:35

He's got no MOT either, and the tax disc is a fake, he's a wrong'un. Do it direct debit Nick, spread the cost, if things are a bit tight?

race
Posted 20/02/2009 @ 08:51

I suggest he gets a drive with Ferrari then.

race
Posted 19/02/2009 @ 05:40

Well good for Moto GP!

race
Posted 19/02/2009 @ 05:38

Why not just not have any races at all, that would cut costs right down.... Silverstone has taken years to get to where it is and that's not perfect, shame to waste all that effort?

race
Posted 19/02/2009 @ 01:14

Any second hand Honda's a reliable buy, who'd have thought! things are a lot closer this season than people think, I hope he gets a result! Go Jenson!

race
Posted 18/02/2009 @ 09:07

Financial risk that seems rather worth it at times?

race
Posted 18/02/2009 @ 09:02

Richard beware buy cheap, buy twice look at Red Bull.

race
Posted 16/02/2009 @ 23:01

Good luck to them, a new opportunity!

race
Posted 16/02/2009 @ 22:59

Why not? she could be world champion too, who knows, they way the sports going going bust and sponsors falling out, take your helmet to a race and you may get a drive yourself!

race
Posted 15/02/2009 @ 09:22

Jim Davidson? no, he couldn't do chalky anymore that's for sure.

race
Posted 14/02/2009 @ 02:04

What a difference a day makes? Fernando was slowest and going home yesterday!

race
Posted 14/02/2009 @ 02:01

Take the money, give him the job.

race
Posted 14/02/2009 @ 02:00

He is a talent, unfortunately another one the UK didn't get behind, every success Ant!

race
Posted 12/02/2009 @ 23:07

Vettel, a 1,000th behind? if this keeps up we might have a race!

race
Posted 12/02/2009 @ 11:07

There is a little more to American motorsport than NASCAR, which itself is vastly more popular world wide than F1, not that they'd tell you that. but explains why F1 doesn't wash there.

race
Posted 12/02/2009 @ 09:50

Good on ya Webbo!

race
Posted 10/02/2009 @ 09:26

He's doesn't need centrelink yet!

race
Posted 10/02/2009 @ 09:25

The best looking car from a team that really take it to the more precious end of the grid, good luck and get some wins!

race
Posted 08/02/2009 @ 02:55

He's a talent and there is never a question of him not being hired, I hope he gets a good car.

race
Posted 08/02/2009 @ 02:41

They would have to work for "free" too. no team needs them, they have nothing to offer, chancers. I hope you write that book one day Max!

race
Posted 06/02/2009 @ 07:09

Cool, 2,I thought it was 6 weeks off?

race
Posted 03/02/2009 @ 06:03

If all the teams can afford to be there, fine, if not ban it, but if they have their own test track then who can stop them?

race
Posted 03/02/2009 @ 01:16

"potshot"? It's complement, both very very good, if not the best at their respective ways of running the same team. Good "racing" teams fail as they can't "market" themselves properly, Force, Jordan, Midland, Honda, that's the trade off, "context of time?" nothing's changed, fact.

race
Posted 02/02/2009 @ 08:31

Nelson's mission is not to run into the back of Alonso.

race
Posted 02/02/2009 @ 08:30

Teddy was to racing as Ron is to marketing.

race
Posted 01/02/2009 @ 23:59

Ferrari at Mclaren, wow, thats a good FOTA opportunity.

race
Posted 01/02/2009 @ 23:56

Alonso is a true racer, he could retire tomorrow but still has something to prove, I hope he gets the car to prove himself again, he won't be so nice.

race
Posted 01/02/2009 @ 23:54

A jordon upswing and benneton turn around, where due to engine performances upgrades, sadly, not Mikes avenue, but credit to be taken just the same.

race
Posted 01/02/2009 @ 23:48

Commitment to the team to stand as an asset for it's potential buyers, kudos to you Jenson, in an ideal world you should be rewarded for that, I think you might.

race
Posted 01/02/2009 @ 23:45

RCPARSONS, I'm with you.

race
Posted 01/02/2009 @ 00:52

Toyota are very good at noticing everyone elses faults aren't they? their cars must be perfect, no, they must be perfect, they've picked on the wrong team there!

race
Posted 01/02/2009 @ 00:49

You never know Glock may indeed have "the wrong tyres" on again...only joking! I hope he does but let's hope it's with exciting racing and with many other contenders.

race
Posted 31/01/2009 @ 08:58

You've had an excellent run Mike, count your blessings, you never actually delivered anything you promised.

race
Posted 31/01/2009 @ 08:57

It would be great to see F1 do something historic these days. Change it, reward the race winner.

race
Posted 31/01/2009 @ 01:12

Technology over racing? what would you prefer? It's unsafe take it off.

race
Posted 31/01/2009 @ 01:11

And the point of that is? to grow a company and stand back and view it as proud father must be great? you gotta feel sorry for the people who are supposed to be incharge, I'm sure they're well paid anyway, plus gotta make sure Lewis is getting the lions share of the pie!

race
Posted 31/01/2009 @ 01:07

He will get work, not sure why he's sold on staying there anyway?

race
Posted 30/01/2009 @ 12:06

Stay quick all afternoon and you might get a result.

race
Posted 29/01/2009 @ 23:19

It's not quite gladiators!

race
Posted 29/01/2009 @ 23:18

F1 teams have teams of lawyers working full time on the rule book it's a wonder anything get's out there, these people are payed a lot to argue for a living, at least the wheels are still round.

race
Posted 28/01/2009 @ 23:07

Get it through Bernie, shake it up..

race
Posted 28/01/2009 @ 08:29

You know it's dangerous out there when the safety car crashes.

race
Posted 28/01/2009 @ 02:16

Well on your performance Nick it probably would be an idea.

race
Posted 28/01/2009 @ 02:15

Yes it would involve getting some podiums?

race
Posted 28/01/2009 @ 02:14

This could be a real bomb shell event if the team formerly known as Honda get a result in Melbourne, no launch, no press build up, no hype, it could be just racing and that's not F1 at all! good luck to you.

race
Posted 27/01/2009 @ 10:00

His first language is nasal, he'll do ok, he should have a shot, he's may not have had huge success's but he's shown promise.

race
Posted 27/01/2009 @ 09:57

Pre-season nerves? huge hype and expectation, probably.

race
Posted 27/01/2009 @ 09:55

Twice champion, convincing victories, the best well, why not!

race
Posted 26/01/2009 @ 23:05

Ron has the vision to try driver combinations that promise so much, sometimes the cars don't deliver and it becomes work, Montoya, Alonso, Raikkonen are all true racers and can only toe the line for so long. Montoya is a great loss to F1.

race
Posted 26/01/2009 @ 00:53

I can't see the other drivers being worried, he's just another driver out there, the hype around him will not help, he's not as popular as people think, I don't know why?

race
Posted 24/01/2009 @ 09:14

A great piece of F1 news to Take Away.

race
Posted 24/01/2009 @ 09:12

So you'll generally be in the way as usual?

race
Posted 24/01/2009 @ 09:09

Boo Hoo, just pay the money.

race
Posted 24/01/2009 @ 09:08

They certainly seem to WAN the KERS race?

race
Posted 24/01/2009 @ 02:58

I never thought I'd write this but.........I think Robson is, is.........right!

race
Posted 23/01/2009 @ 08:16

A taste of things to come?

race
Posted 21/01/2009 @ 23:24

There is certainly no mention of guns!

race
Posted 21/01/2009 @ 23:22

They've used the sport to advertise their product, like Honda, but did they ever have any intention of winning?

race
Posted 21/01/2009 @ 08:27

Again it would require some overtaking.

race
Posted 21/01/2009 @ 02:16

fitznstarts, totally right. I have never read a more apt reply. Bernie's built this up from, not a lot and made a go, and still want's it to improve as entertainment, and that's a very good thing, so we all bite the hand that feed's, it's human nature, but not many people have his business talent. If they want more money, they should charge more for sponsorship, to do that, they'll have to put on a "show", which may involve having to overtake someone else, sorry.

race
Posted 21/01/2009 @ 02:00

Carefull mentioning the word "dark".

race
Posted 21/01/2009 @ 01:55

If a driver "wants" to overtake, then he surely he will find a way to do so.

race
Posted 20/01/2009 @ 11:00

Ron is Mclaren, more so than Bruce! I can't see Martin having the kudos or that sort of vision? I hope I'm wrong.

race
Posted 20/01/2009 @ 07:04

A true Champion!

race
Posted 19/01/2009 @ 22:27

I hope they do, a Gentlemans Team, I hope that is rewarded, when they are not in the mix it isn't F1.

race
Posted 19/01/2009 @ 08:57

Good on ya webbo!

race
Posted 18/01/2009 @ 02:34

Where else is there to go?

race
Posted 17/01/2009 @ 09:50

Well let's hope they do, because you're never leaving, remember?

race
Posted 17/01/2009 @ 09:49

Totally, do it and call it medals!

race
Posted 17/01/2009 @ 03:13

I hope you get a fair go mate!

race
Posted 17/01/2009 @ 03:10

I hope he does win but make the "show" entertaining and convincing.

race
Posted 17/01/2009 @ 03:07

Ron's vision has helped F1 all the way, I hope he gets some time to stand back and enjoy it.

race
Posted 16/01/2009 @ 03:45

Kimi will beat them all, how do I know? he has done already.

race
Posted 16/01/2009 @ 03:43

They seem to have been, "only a sponsorship opportunity" so far, let's see some results.

race
Posted 16/01/2009 @ 03:02

Just sad that it was Glock's only real involvement in the 2008 Championship, hope he has better luck this season.

race
Posted 16/01/2009 @ 02:51

The black box tells no lies, if it says 100mph smash in the press, so be it. A shunt's a shunt, he did well to come back, it was a toy's out the pram situation but hey Michael has more passion for winning than anyone on the grid, good for him! yime's a great healer.

race
Posted 15/01/2009 @ 08:28

And to think he only hit the wall at 25mph!

race
Posted 14/01/2009 @ 23:44

Red Bull should be the team to watch!

race
Posted 14/01/2009 @ 23:40

Should be good, hopefully progressing away from their usual mobile chicane.

race
Posted 14/01/2009 @ 23:38

He'll have something to prove, I hope he gets some luck too, he deserves it.

race
Posted 14/01/2009 @ 07:32

It's funny how everybody slates DC, sure he's not bothered, Jenson would do well to stay, it's a good facility and a great new car, as always with F1 it's down to finance.

race
Posted 14/01/2009 @ 07:29

Go "iceman" !

race
Posted 13/01/2009 @ 22:51

Not a problem, al least they know it's not too heavy!

race
Posted 13/01/2009 @ 09:03

Particularly if you where on the test team!

race
Posted 12/01/2009 @ 22:20

It might be just me but I think a bit f costcutting might be needed. All that money to buy the team, pay top dollar for a professional engine and gearbox, salary of some director you didn't know you needed, and still the best you dream of is midfield!

race
Posted 11/01/2009 @ 09:16

I hope Heikki gets a good go this season, a fair fight with your team mate shouldn't be too much to ask.

race
Posted 11/01/2009 @ 00:39

These guys are a true independant team, making the big boys look twice a few times with their approach. I hope they get some good results this season, they promise so much.

race
Posted 11/01/2009 @ 00:34

The UK has nearly got it right with Silverstone, which is a pail immitation of a modern day GP circuit worldwide, the tracks OK but the roads getting to it, have only just been finished the high ticket price and not enough grandstand seating, Donnington is miles behind.

race
Posted 11/01/2009 @ 00:29

I hope he and many others are in the running, but Murray knows as well as anyone the BS stops when the flag drops!

race
Posted 11/01/2009 @ 00:28

Kimi has tried very hard for many seasons with substandard cars and always got the best out of them, last seasons Ferrari was borderline and it's wet weather set up was extremely bad. He's won a championship, he'll be back! Murray will sing his praises again for sure.

race
Posted 10/01/2009 @ 08:59

Kimi will be back!

race
Posted 10/01/2009 @ 08:58

This guy is fast!

race
Posted 10/01/2009 @ 04:14

I would imagine FIAT are keen on any customer at the moment!

race
Posted 10/01/2009 @ 04:13

Mr Richards is wise not to jump in, there will be a lot of changes to F1 racing so why spend all that money if you do not need too? He picked the rallying out of the side lines and made the WRC, and owns Prodrive, he know's what he's talking about, a good bloke!

race
Posted 07/01/2009 @ 08:40

Robson, you're old mate Ross the Boss needs you after all!

race
Posted 07/01/2009 @ 08:39

Good luck mate!

race
Posted 05/01/2009 @ 23:17

Lewis is managed by Ron, he's the marketing dream and Ron likes his marketing, the other driver is, simply that, another driver.

race
Posted 05/01/2009 @ 23:10

Well there you go, change it, or lose it, setting something up as the "best" of anything is unfortunately one day going to look ostentatious and out of touch. Be brave, change it, one engine, one fuel, slicks, Medals too if you like put on a show that sponsors do want to spend on. People whinge and whine but they'll still turn up to watch, they've been putting up with it this long, give something back, if it doesn't happen now it will be higher ticket prices and the supporters will be hit in the pockets yet again.

race
Posted 05/01/2009 @ 22:55

Excellent Mika, look back and see how that would have changed his results? but he was a driver that always went for the win, even when told not to. I works OK in the Olympics? do it!

race
Posted 05/01/2009 @ 08:16

Well this is Bernie's bluff, he's providing the highest form of motorsport show. The days of teams earning money from event media revenue are long gone, they have space on the cars, so sell it, here's the clue, "don't spend all the money!"

race
Posted 04/01/2009 @ 22:03

Very unkucky at times!

race
Posted 04/01/2009 @ 22:02

I hope "Quick" Nick gets a shot, he's been unkucky but stuck with it. I'm sure a few drivers feel they have something to prove, if their race cars are all they are promised to be that is?

race
Posted 03/01/2009 @ 22:14

"He'll be back!!

race
Posted 03/01/2009 @ 09:55

True, they've built him up out of all proportion, the expectation on him so high, the fact that he won seemed to surprise them as much as everyone else. Law of averages say he may never win another one, it was well needed, I feel sorry for the drivers that have come close in the past but just don't get the "luck".

race
Posted 03/01/2009 @ 08:32

we just like hating!

race
Posted 03/01/2009 @ 01:37

I hope it wouldn't be an anti-climax? the higher you go the more political it is, just his luck to get the seat as they then announce they've signed Hamilton too. He's earned a go though? Massa is ace and Kimi is Kimi, so unless they have a 3rd car I don't know.

race
Posted 03/01/2009 @ 01:30

Good for him, change it, win for winning, and if that causes tactics and shunts maybe it will break out into a race?

race
Posted 03/01/2009 @ 01:27

It would be great to see him do it in a car which was neither red or silver, Mika knows best!

race
Posted 02/01/2009 @ 02:36

Eddie ran Michael off the road at Silverstone because he didn't want to let him past, Mika made mistakes as he had no one to race all year, Eddie caught up on "points" not talent and had to wait to see if Mika broke down to see if he'd be Champion, he didn't, and yet he has an opinion on Kimi's career? Michael always wanted whipping boys, credit to Johnny H for not wanting to be, but Eddie? keep to your property developments.

race
Posted 01/01/2009 @ 02:35

Let's hope your infront of most of them now Nick?

race
Posted 01/01/2009 @ 02:32

He's done well, a huge thanks to the 1000 people that helped him? yes they got a t-shirt.

race
Posted 31/12/2008 @ 03:02

Not interested at the starting price maybe?

race
Posted 31/12/2008 @ 03:00

Alonso, Kimi Ferrari, Massa, Hamilton Mclaren, sorry Massa, Hamilton and Hamilton's dad, Mclaren!

race
Posted 31/12/2008 @ 02:45

I thought Jenson would be OK! with Ross the boss, the new car, a Senna thrown in too, cheap at twice the price!

race
Posted 31/12/2008 @ 02:38

Hakkinen was OK to do his because he can't have been as popular? shame because that was for the Drivers and Constructors Championships, rule Britannia.

race
Posted 31/12/2008 @ 02:32

It should be in America/Canada for sure, it's criminal it isn't. I hope they improve the show, if not leave it in the desert.

race
Posted 31/12/2008 @ 02:23

He is a very naturally talented driver who doesn't have to work very hard to be quick, this has been a learning curve for him, in a fair car he'll be there, in a good car he'll beat anyone, he'll be back!

race
Posted 31/12/2008 @ 02:19

KubicaFTW, I apologise! you're right, I just like Jenson!

race
Posted 30/12/2008 @ 08:39

True!

race
Posted 30/12/2008 @ 00:12

Rupinder, you got it! there is some real seat of the pants moves going on in races but they are for 12th place and you'd never know, they boys down the back have skills too, coverage is the key, top sponsors go to winners, if they go to the, "Entertaining" the ones that are deemed to be putting on a show, then we'd have a race.

race
Posted 27/12/2008 @ 08:58

Old Hockenheim, Spa, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Indianapolis, Magny-Cours, the good old days!

race
Posted 27/12/2008 @ 08:51

All F1 cars have to meet 605kg with driver and fluid, if the chassis, driver, bodywork, engine, gearbox, can be made lighter then the extra weight can be positioned nearer c of g, or elsewhere within the car by means of tungsten ballast for set-up, specific to the event entered and constantly changed, Mclaren and everyone else.

race
Posted 27/12/2008 @ 00:10

Monarco to Centerlink? I doubt it!

race
Posted 27/12/2008 @ 00:09

"fair" no, you lost me?

race
Posted 27/12/2008 @ 00:07

Alonso is very impressive, the whole Mclaren thing was a shame but it gives his F1 story some flesh to it's bones especially if he wins more Championships in the future for another team. I hope he does!

race
Posted 26/12/2008 @ 03:19

Gimmick series, they said that about F1, and look at that now? it's the most exciting racing you are ever likely to pay a fortune to watch!

race
Posted 26/12/2008 @ 03:16

These guys are millionaires as test drivers. F1 has lost sight of the fact while being extremely "flash with the cash" that in itself isn't entertaining, it's like it's about marketing and not the race, sorry, yes it is about the marketing, I understand now, what time is the Rally on?

race
Posted 26/12/2008 @ 02:59

Well most of us thought it, a few knew it and still it happens and will continue to. With it being out in the open now it's a step in the right direction toward honesty and fairplay, it's strange that the dirty laundry is being hung out for the public to see? doesn't look very professional to the sponsors and I think it's those that they are having trouble finding? Still one team can't dominate the organisation, they let it happen too long, both barrels in the foot again F1, Bernie will take it down fighting. Ferrari road cars are a statement they may not be 100% reliable, you'll have another car for that, a faceless Toyota maybe, or a Honda, Mercedes, BMW all the ones that look the same, or have one of those cars they don't sell worldwide like a Renault. F1 needs a "big name" I just don't know how much anymore, seems to be doing more harm than good?

race
Posted 24/12/2008 @ 23:39

Merry Chrismas!

race
Posted 24/12/2008 @ 23:37

A fair point from a man in the business, A1GP is a great series anyway!

race
Posted 23/12/2008 @ 00:33

Shame, he was doing ok!

race
Posted 23/12/2008 @ 00:31

So he beat the pasta rockets this time to the title, it'll just be fun to see him try again, law of averages say Mclaren don't keep any advantage very long, and if he likes winning that bad, it could be, "rattle out of the pram" anytime soon.

race
Posted 23/12/2008 @ 00:20

Sorry "robson" I thought I'd seen Murray there with Channel 10 and assumed he was working as he had his gear on, perhaps he's gone to Channel 7 with the V8's!

race
Posted 21/12/2008 @ 08:58

Shocker!

race
Posted 21/12/2008 @ 06:02

Even with a wage cut I'm sure they'll do well! Not many people can drive those cars, a lap maybe, 50 laps your performance would have to be for free. A good car is so much easier, but you have the teams reputation to up hold. The boys down the back, if they keep it "on" all afternoon they have my respect, they should be paid more!

race
Posted 21/12/2008 @ 05:38

Your right Robbie08, he was in a right mess, but Johnny came good. I hope Webber gets a better run next season. Australia gets Murray to do the commentary for the GP over the ITV feed, like old times!

race
Posted 21/12/2008 @ 05:30

Good luck with that "model" sure does need to be better than last years!

race
Posted 21/12/2008 @ 05:28

Rats and sinking ships.

race
Posted 18/12/2008 @ 03:57

I don't think Hamilton would have been in any danger, he was in a car? besides he's good at racing people on the wrong tyres. Hoy in the car Hamilton on the bike now there's a race! He should have been in the main event, anyway, but he wasn't, why?

race
Posted 17/12/2008 @ 22:55

Superb timing DC!

race
Posted 17/12/2008 @ 22:53

It will be tough, it always is, until the lights go out at Albert Park we won't know how fast anyone really is, as long as there is a race that is entertaining that's all I hope for! Go for Gold Lewis!

race
Posted 17/12/2008 @ 02:41

Yes biso9700 I hear you, I am by no means "somethin" in F1, I am one of the many that work in it, amongst other racing. I understand Lewis is happy at Mclaren, my point is it's a shame he wouldn't consider anyone else in the future, not just, "Ferari," as he with Kimi say would be a dynamite combination, he is a talent, Mclaren are only one team, a good one, but there should be many "good" teams in F1, it is the finest form of racing? Ferrari (with two "r"'s) are a, sometimes, dominating force in the F1 organisation, which can be frustrating to other teams, but is a reflection of their pedigree and focus, love them or hate them they should be there. I hope the cost cutting ideas work and Teams aren't driven out, Jenson gets a good drive and the chance to show us his talent (that's a reference to the story we should be commenting on) the BBC coverage is fresh and some excitement comes back to the race. Robson, well, he's my hero he put's a multi-million $, US not AUS, into a context it's viewed by many, I don't share all of it but he's got an opinion too. Oh and you didn't realise it's all quoted did you? it's so it, by no means reflects on planetf1's opinion, that's just the way it, "shld" be. Merry Christmas anyway, Walter Mitty Racing.

race
Posted 16/12/2008 @ 22:05

I reckon Michael might be on to something there!

If he can hang on, and Williams could get their stuff together, I'd love to see him win for them.

race
Posted 16/12/2008 @ 22:01

I like this guy already, Testing is testing but good for him.

race
Posted 16/12/2008 @ 21:59

We hope so to Yarno! It would be good to see a few different winners! go on, go for gold!

race
Posted 16/12/2008 @ 08:37

If he's good he should be at Mclaren for sure, Bruce would be proud!

race
Posted 16/12/2008 @ 01:04

Walter Mitty Racing, superb, well done you, aren't you clever, clever boy biso9700 you could be the Press Officer but you would have to learn to type and spell, as at the moment you seem a little, how you say, retarded! LOL!!! :-0

race
Posted 16/12/2008 @ 00:33

I hope he stays with it but he deserves a good car, Button and Hamilton at Mclaren would be great!

race
Posted 16/12/2008 @ 00:05

My point is this, in the history of this sport a lot of infringements of rules by a red car have generally gone unpunished, not just spy-gate but general scrutineering, where as other teams are penalised heavily for the smallest thing, I don't think that will change, it's all part of it, if you sacrifice your life to work in it then after time you will wish to be on the winning side, the drivers want to be there for it's pedigree, except for Lewis which is a shame because although Mclaren are great, they are not Ferrari, he is too young and Dennis-ed to know yet. I have no affiliation to any team in particular, working up and down the grid as many people do, after too many years to mention you notice this sport has turned into a monster with teams that are self interested and self important which I find very funny as it is supposedly just a race, behind the scenes it's bitchier than this! They don't like Max or Bernie but truth is without those two trying to keep it all in check it would have imploded years ago. To be so serious and so focused, it's a pleasure to read Robson! Merry Christmas.

race
Posted 15/12/2008 @ 23:11

The Olympics is a little competition started a couple of years ago and it's how they decide races, it's a funny way of doing things but they stick with it, I've heared they are going to implement a points system to give the people at the back the chance to win. "Going For...... Going For 5th" or the Spandau Ballet hit "5th" I wish them luck with it.

race
Posted 15/12/2008 @ 22:52

3 golds? so he won 3 races and became the champion? as in winning more races than anyone else? Why don't they run F1 like that eh? So you win by finishing first rather than with a calculator. I like these "new" Olympic ideas!

race
Posted 14/12/2008 @ 22:42

I hope he gets a chance, cool place Japan be good to see more F1 there?

race
Posted 14/12/2008 @ 22:39

I'd agree with the Felipe Massa "sportsmanship" feeling, Pole, Fastest lap, Race win, all that pressure, class act, he'll have his day. He did with a little help from Kimi though win the Constructors, which is what they trade on for the sale of sports cars, there is no denying that achievement, in this economic climate if your buying a sports car, I'd have one of those please, they seem to know what they're doing!

race
Posted 14/12/2008 @ 22:30

And for his holiday Lewis and all his family have gone to spend some quality time with Robson.

race
Posted 14/12/2008 @ 22:25

Good for you Jenson, I hope the loyalty is rewarded, I think it might be!

race
Posted 14/12/2008 @ 22:24

End or an era in2 years then, that's a shame.

race
Posted 14/12/2008 @ 01:27

Ferrari won't go along with any of it, because they are Ferrari and they are great in every sense of the word, that's why all the people involved in F1 want to work for them and any driver wants to drive for them, except one.

race
Posted 14/12/2008 @ 01:23

Good for Lewis and Britain, not much else to sing about there at the moment, roll on next season!

race
Posted 14/12/2008 @ 01:15

Good for you Fizzy! hope that engins's all it's promised to be.

race
Posted 12/12/2008 @ 23:51

Go for it, shake it up!

race
Posted 12/12/2008 @ 23:49

This man convinces governments to spend millions on building circuits promising a great "show" and people fall out because it's too hard, not too hard to use their cars on their tv ad's all year? He owns it, he can say what he likes!

race
Posted 12/12/2008 @ 23:46

I can't wait to find out!

race
Posted 12/12/2008 @ 23:44

If that doesn't bring back the "show" nothing will!

race
Posted 12/12/2008 @ 08:23

The fact they agreed about anything is worthy of a public holiday.

race
Posted 12/12/2008 @ 08:21

All F1 engines are made to a specification, the fact that his says Mercedes on it and Kimi's says Ferrari they are very similar. So to tighten up the rules and have some teams using the same engine format in an affordable way wouldn't be a bad situation for Formula 1 to be in.

race
Posted 12/12/2008 @ 07:45

The championship was a two horse race as usual as it's been for the last decade, regardless of the early promises from BMW, no favourite driver, no favourite team, I'd love to see Force India win or Mark Webber. Trulli any of them. Not entertaining? no I've seen better, 5 teams up for the win and last corner of the last race why not. New coverage new rules, watching it, no mate, I work in it!

race
Posted 11/12/2008 @ 22:50

It may have saved them! he's a worthy F1 driver.

race
Posted 11/12/2008 @ 22:46

And there is a possibility that there will one day be a better prospect for Mclaren albeit more marketable/cheaper/faster driver the sunshine doesn't last forever.

race
Posted 11/12/2008 @ 07:38

It'll be great to see which team principle goes to press announcing these where his ideas?

race
Posted 10/12/2008 @ 22:34

Bravo! I bet those Mclaren employees will get a huge pay rise this year.

race
Posted 10/12/2008 @ 22:32

Well that's what has been promised for the last few seasons eh?

race
Posted 10/12/2008 @ 22:29

It looks like it's playing into the hands of Max's cost-cutting ideas, I never agreed with Max in the past, always biting the hand that feeds I suppose and going by what I was told by others, truth is he saw this coming and isn't ashamed to get in amongst it and sort it out, the "have" and "have not" teams don't offer entertaining racing, level the playing field, it'll be the best thing that happened to F1.

race
Posted 09/12/2008 @ 22:35

Ferrari need to be in the top racing Formula, if that is still F1? they only make sportscars, they don't make people carriers, off road vehicles, town cars, mini buses, love them or thoath them they are the only true "name" racing, the other manufatures's aspire to have that pedigree. Make it cheaper and get the old names back, Lotus, Bugatti, open playing field who's on pole? it's Kia.

race
Posted 09/12/2008 @ 22:22

Did Glock get a little something for pulling over in Brazil? Should have done else this little party would have been a bit flat. Pat each other on the back as much as you like, that was not an entertaining season.

race
Posted 08/12/2008 @ 23:54

They can always come back, there is a lot of racing out there that they will compete in and get excellent coverage and be on a leveller playing field, F1 is a money pit that you either shovel it in and hope for the best or look bad, they look bad and that's not good, bale out. Back to basics, no ivory towers and plenty of wheel to wheel action, 5 teams in the running for a race or championship win, and then all the old name's will be back, cost cutting ideas are great, but millionaires like to throw money around to look flash, costcutting rules are needed, and the man that inforces them won't be popular, but he'll save F1.

race
Posted 08/12/2008 @ 08:17

Pass the bucket Robson!

race
Posted 07/12/2008 @ 23:14

Unlike Ron to like the sound of his own voice, it isn't a pleasure working for him?

race
Posted 07/12/2008 @ 04:20

They will have sponsors currently, Alonso would have also attracted his share of investment hence his fee would be retained. How did Mclaren interest Vodaphone? having a double world champion driving thats how, to a potential investor they're still a good prospect. I hope they get a shot and I hope Dave Richards buys in, who needs Mercedes now!!

race
Posted 07/12/2008 @ 00:58

David Richards stand up, he's the man for this little challenge!

race
Posted 07/12/2008 @ 00:56

I'm sure all the other teams will come out to offer their commitment to F1, I don't see the manufacturers brave enough for a break-away now, looks like they need Bernie after all?

race
Posted 06/12/2008 @ 11:52

Cool, seems like a time to buy in cheap, wonder how long it will be before you can afford a second hand Hamilton, one over protective owner.

race
Posted 06/12/2008 @ 01:06

Please stay positive, there is unfinished business there.

race
Posted 06/12/2008 @ 01:01

You got it Bernie, it's got to be a "show" and there hasn't been one for a while, back to basics never hurt anyone, the TV coverage worldwide doesn't show how technical the cars are, if you work on them you know, if you are one of the millions watching that don't, they all look the same, those team bosses will whinge but they've done OK for themselves.

race
Posted 05/12/2008 @ 10:12

That global reach makes me laugh, they don't show it everywhere now, I wonder why? Still they all got rich!

race
Posted 04/12/2008 @ 22:48

Sure A1GP is "The World Cup of Motorsport" world teams represented racing all over the world, I see how different that is to the F1 World Championship, they only race all around the world and have drivers from all over the world, how foolish of me, medals could never work, make the points system more complicated let the legal boys in the pits do the sums as yes they have them, and we'll sit back and watch the "show" go even more down hill, Bernie's the man.

race
Posted 04/12/2008 @ 22:30

With that sixth sense for spotting talent no wonder Mika's gone into management..............!

race
Posted 04/12/2008 @ 08:56

Let's hope Honda read this!

race
Posted 03/12/2008 @ 23:34

I don't care if it's pink as long as it is going to provide good competition to any other front running teams, please lets have 5 teams running for the championship, make it exciting!

race
Posted 03/12/2008 @ 23:31

Good for you, let's hope you can keep a few of these new front wings on the car and not spoil other peoples races next season?

race
Posted 03/12/2008 @ 23:21

I like Alonso, he has one of those things that a lot of drivers have removed or repressed by team's who have long forgotten how important it is for their drivers to have, regarding the sport they dedicate their lives too, oh, that's it's an opinion.

race
Posted 02/12/2008 @ 23:08

The twist is Heikki will be there as well.

race
Posted 02/12/2008 @ 09:15

Alonso, spolt brat? 2 world championships, neither won by anyone pulling over?? I think he deserves a break.

race
Posted 02/12/2008 @ 09:12

oh we don't like change do we!! go for it Bernie.

race
Posted 29/11/2008 @ 01:32

Senna and Prost, in temperament maybe, that was my point, please quote some more facts and figures though....

race
Posted 28/11/2008 @ 11:34

Yea Kimi and Alonso, there's a line up to beat Senna and Prost in a Ferrari too how good would they feel!!

race
Posted 27/11/2008 @ 22:18

If you love Lewis and he wins the race, excellent, if you love Kimi and he wins, excellent, if you love nobody and like to watch a "race" other than the first corner F1's stale, a multi-million dollar procession, good for you Bernie, everyone complain at least the guy in charge can still see how "his" product can be improved. Tell Eddie it's the "drivers" championship..............?

race
Posted 27/11/2008 @ 22:10

If you're going to sponsor a racing car it's got to be a Ferrari, anything less reflects on your success.

race
Posted 27/11/2008 @ 22:08

The choice was yours Rubens take the money and be the No.2, and you did, too late for a conscience my friend we all saw the happenings for all those years by telling us them again makes you look cheap, which is a shame because you have it in you to be No.1 do it!

race
Posted 26/11/2008 @ 23:14

You sold up chap, move on, new era etc etc.......

race
Posted 26/11/2008 @ 23:11

Nice guy, a "character" no room for them in F1 now especially not at Mclaren, if Williams could have been a little quicker, then it might have been a different story, real aggression and exciting racing, never had the car he should have had, a sad loss to F1, hey gotta love NASCAR!

race
Posted 26/11/2008 @ 23:06

Excellent idea!! bring it on.

race
Posted 24/11/2008 @ 19:19

Sounds good, can't wait, let's hope, the coverage is not too "Hamilton-heavy" and the teams provided a good show to broadcast, great Murray's in there too!!

race
Posted 22/11/2008 @ 23:29

Get well soon Mark!! you gotta be ready to kick some ass in Vic'!

race
Posted 21/11/2008 @ 23:54

Yea it's hard to say, but if "robson" was taken to a race, spent all weekend as a guest of whatever team, on the pit wall for qually in the pits for set up, a ride in the 2 seater, helped out at a pit stop, 7 star hotel, win the race, invited up on to the podium by the driver to collect the trophy.........you'd still gather that the champagne being sprayed would be, "too fizzy....."

race
Posted 21/11/2008 @ 01:28

Patience, let them have their moment, Rubens will be back!

race
Posted 21/11/2008 @ 01:26

Honda F1, please listen to Ross "The Boss".

race
Posted 20/11/2008 @ 00:28

Ferrari,Mercedes customer engines? Tyrrell had to pull over to let Mclaren by when they both were Honda, can't see De La Rosa or Sutil near a podium unless they have spare time cleaning jobs.

race
Posted 20/11/2008 @ 00:22

It's nice to hear Ron talking of Senna, he should be remembered, pure focus, determination. Massa, pole in Brazil, home race, lead, won, championship should have been his for that performance alone under that pressure, Senna would have won that way!

race
Posted 17/11/2008 @ 23:30

I hope some other teams step up, and there's the "show" right there. ITV BBC who cares as long as it's on TV. Watch it with the sound down, I like the whine of the engines but the whine of James "I'll agree with anybody" Allen was annoying, bring back Murrey, he had an opinion of his own, usually wrong but at least he had one! Come on BMW, RedBull, Renault, Toyota, Honda, show us your promises,"we'll win races in 2 years" why not win them now??

race
Posted 13/11/2008 @ 08:00

Good for you Mika! the focus that this guy can generate within himself can only benefit new "talent" he lead from the front, mid' pack and came from behind winning and beating world class competition, you can't fail to learn something from him!

race
Posted 12/11/2008 @ 23:43

Cool, Mclaren technical excellence yet again, Martin's gonna have to do one hell of a funny video to make this one interesting!

race
Posted 12/11/2008 @ 23:37

The ethos of, "never use your own money to race" is used to great effect by those participating in the sport. It's funny to hear millionaires complain about money! How many grass roots racers put on the same show every weekend and no one see's it? and new formula take the best of what F1 marketing demonstrates eg, A1GP, yet "The pinicle of motorsport" wrangle over whose getting more than whoever, who cares if your that passionate do it for nothing. Bernie developed it, taking great strength, to still after all this time try and convince the world that this is the finest form of motorsport, watch and read the hype, view a race and I often wonder what all the fuss was about, but he still trys and I'm still watching and so are you!

race
Posted 11/11/2008 @ 08:40

A fair point Mr Button, the Hamilton success has been heavily sponsored by Ron over the years, it was a calculated risk to bring him into a racedrive, but it was not without well funded carefully considered preparation. Jenson has had chances, but not those chances, I think Lewis will perform better than most in an underpowered car, I admire the fact he will stick by Mclaren, no matter what they produce for him, but if they find a faster driver, they'd drop him like a stone!

race
Posted 11/11/2008 @ 06:10

Fair point Mr Button.

race
Posted 10/11/2008 @ 11:09

Well Mr Robson if DC where to read the comment he would know who I am and find it funny, My point was that crowds pick on the easiest visual thing, Isle Of Skye, Lovely place, you should go, check out your heritage, you could wear a skirt, kilt sorry!

race
Posted 08/11/2008 @ 09:40

DC is the coolest guy, and he's got a head the shape of a box. is that racist?? Bernie's the man, he's built an empire with a bunch of ego's that couldn't agree on anything themselves, that's talent. I notice Ron's saying "F1" more now, as he was saying "Grand Prix racing" instead, you got to respect Bernie's steel will!

race
Posted 08/11/2008 @ 06:43

I was hard on Lewis, he's gonna believe his own press after a while, I hope with the BBC taking over that I won't hear of 99% of drivers just gaining a position by making a "pass" and yet Lewis has pulled off yet another "super-human feat of an overtaking maneuver," No doubt he was humble at the factory "thank you" wasn't all that sincere though with the worlds press invited too eh?

race
Posted 08/11/2008 @ 06:33

Good Luck Jenson! you've more than paid your dues, a little success would not be too much to ask for your efforts.

race
Posted 07/11/2008 @ 09:03

Most people can't believe it, funnily enough it sank for Massa by turn one on the cool-down lap.

race
Posted 07/11/2008 @ 09:01

No question he's a talent, you see that from how he worked his way up the ladder from Mclaren......... to Mclaren he's done it the hard way, he's won races and that builds confidence, the way he ran into the back of Kimi at a red light and overtook him off the circuit at Spa and won a championship by someone pulling over, that's positive for sure.

race
Posted 07/11/2008 @ 08:40

Too PC for me, F1 is global with a lot of Nations represented, and rightly or wrongly supporters pick on the easiest personal thing, Prost was french and probably still is how funny was that, Schuuy, German hilarious, racial stereotypes leap to mind, and it's funny, toughen up. Hamilton will probably just "do his talking on the track" and then proceed to talk for 10 minutes, he's a multi-millionaire he'll be ok, all the drivers will. Bernie's lifetime's hard work has given the world this "show" please don't try and ruin it, he's seen off bigger than you.
