watchcam, now be fair, the M25 is always chock-a-block with traffic LOL and the last time i checked, there was never any roadworks with contraflows on any F1 track i've seen....... though come to think of it..... that'd make for some interesting racing LOL. and once again robson spews his hatred of all things that are not red by finding some way of worming in the "spygate" thing again even though this is about HONDA not McLaren.

Dear spacemensplif....POSSESION of stolen goods is a FELONY....same as if you stole them yourself.....ask a lawyer. McLAREN were guilty of ILLEGALY trying to gain an 'edge', got caught and got their 'pee-pee' slapped...get over it.

All PR speak, IF Honda is sold it will be too late but to have anything but another settling in (read wasted) year the engine won't matter.

Yes Robson, Honda does have Ferrari technical data...he is called Ross Brawn...another affiliate of Ferrari willing to part with their data...How come Ferrari's (ex) employees are so eager to part with the data? And if you could cast your 1 braincell back to 2007, McLaren wasn't found guilty of theft of the documents, only of being in POSSESION. A Ferrari numbnut gave it to McLaren, for free if I'm not mistaken

I heard McLaren are going to get round the testing restrictions by running their car round the M25.

Robson what are you smoking? I'd be more inclined to think they were just doing it to gain extra development budget and testing time. You don't need to be a genius to work that one out. And besides who'd want the data for the skip that Ferrari are calling the F60.

Let me re-phrase this for ya.Mercedes will provide the engines for Honda in the 2009 season. It didnt take a genius to figure that out . More blue prints .....

If Honda had secret data they might have been a little closer to the front themselves robson. As it is this sounds like PR to me

No matter what mercedes do you get the idiots like Robson running them down,if Honda survives and get the engine deal with mercedes people will say they have a advantage supplying 3 teams, least us not forget the engine ferrari supplyied to force india so detuned it could barely move the car

they've probably heard honda has access to some ferrari technical data so they want to help themselves to it. sneaky if true but par for the course. the "helping out" ploy is only a smokescreen.

"Brawn's mood will have brightened in the last couple of days..." at the news he might have to take engines from his old arch enemies. Yeah, I bet.

You hardly need a spy satellite to monitor if an F1 cars going around a circuit. Believe me. There are many tens of people involved in just running the car. Then there's marshals, caterers, track coordinators, safety crews, medical services (accompanied by a helicopter) ... and the list goes on. Not to mention it's in Italy, where the media can smell petrol at 1 part per million. Someone would spill the beans. F1 isn't club racing. You can't just turn up with a car and 3 fat bearded guys and run laps without anyone noticing. Just in case though, there's no need to launch a specific satellite. There are many, many out there that could pinpoint mugello already. Hell, even Google earth can get you within inches of every piece of the track surface.

Well, I guess this is one way to get a standardised engine and gearbox into F1. I wonder how much Max has had to do with this.....

zmahecic the Maranello Muppets are bigger than the sport the rules only cover the existing teams not the FIAs own team. Mugello will be available 24/7 if requested.

Speaking about testing ban who is going to supervise Mugello? As I understand not all the teams have the track in their own courtyard. So, is FIA going to spend 100 millions to launch a spy satellite? Really, I humbly confess my ignorance so I would be grateful if someone would explain to me how this issue is, or going to be resolved? I was thinking about it for some time but only now found a time to ask.

Where is an offer from BMW? They are the only engine manufacturer not supplying a second team. Bernie and Max should knock on Mr Theissen's door.

Oh yes, it's so nice of them. I'm sure they will make no money. Oh and the big bad Ferrari men - how dare they not supply Honda! How dare they..? Sigh. Just stick an old Ford DFV in there and Bob's your uncle..

For the sake of Formula 1, so long as we get paid for it within the framework of a watertight contract. That's basically exactly what Ferrari said a few days ago, but they've now worked out Honda is dead in the water. Typical Mercades - grab some late publicity knowing the Honda ship has already sunk and they will never have to be true to their basically empty offer.

Ross Brawn helped Ferrari win 5 championships,he described Domenicali as an old school mate. Ferrari having said yes to Ross to supply his team with engines, they turn around and put a knife in his back and leave him to go begging to Mercedes. This is typical Ferrari behaviour, no loyalty what so ever, and then they wonder why their technical documents go missing. Watch your back Schumi!!!

Prodrive, Force India and now the former Honda? Mercedes is willing to supply anybody with enough cash with an engine these days.
