Renault will introduce fairly significant updates to their R31 at next weekend's Spa GP, although James Allison says the upgrades will soon stop.
With eight races remaining, Renault are in a fight with Mercedes GP for fifth place in the Constructors' Championship and trail their rivals by 14 points.
The team, though, is hoping to make up some ground in the next "three to four" races during which they will still develop their 2011 car, starting with next weekend's Belgian GP.
"We will bring a new floor, a reworked exhaust, modifications to the rear brake duct, various detailed changes around the bargeboard region and a different rear suspension arrangement," tech director Allison said.
"None of the changes are individually huge, but together they are a fair package."
But it won't be long before Renault stop developing their 2011 challenger as the team is set to turn their full attention to next year's car.
"Around this time of year the majority of the team's aerodynamic resources have transferred to the next season's car.
"We will deliver upgrades to the car for the next three to four races as a result of research performed prior to the summer break, but after that the changes will become more modest."
