Red Bull's advisor Helmut Marko says Sebastian Vettel needs to up his pace in qualifying if he wants to achieve a third World title.
Last season Red Bull were the dominant force in Formula One, however, this year there is a much more even - and at times unpredictable - playing field.
As a result Vettel has failed to repeat last year's triumphs, claiming just one race victory and an additional two podium finishes.
The German's lack of success has put him third in the Drivers' standings on 122 points, 44 behind Championship leader Fernando Alonso while his team-mate Mark Webber is two ahead of him.
"We can still win the title, but Vettel must do better in qualifying," Marko said in his column in German daily Bild.
"He no longer has the domination he had last season."
In fact this season Vettel has bagged just three pole positions but only once has he turned it into a victory, back in May's Bahrain GP.
"Vettel does not need five wins, but he should not return empty-handed," Marko added.
"Alonso's run of form will come to an end soon and we have to be ready.
"One of the Red Bull drivers can become World Champion. Even Webber."
