Di Resta: Bit of frustration

Paul di Resta is hoping his off in Friday's second practice won't dent his chances of a top-ten grid slot come Saturday's qualifying.

The Force India driver's session came to an early conclusion when, six minutes in, he crashed at the Spoon corner.

Di Resta touched the dirt on the inside of the corner and lost control of his car, sliding into the barriers and causing significant right side damage.

The Scot later admitted that he was to blame as "frustration" over being held up by Kimi Raikkonen got to him.

"I just found myself with the right-hand wheels on the grass," di Resta told the BBC.

"[It] probably a bit of frustration with Kimi [Raikkonen] getting in my way but that's no excuse.

"I was 0.6secs up on my lap from first practice, so it's annoying to go off. Hopefully it won't cost me too much tomorrow."

Di Resta, though, wasn't the only one to crash at Spoon as later in the session seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher put in a repeat performance.
