Hamilton: All-out for the win

Hamilton: All-out for the win

Lewis Hamilton is adamant he'll do everything he can to fight for the victory in Korea despite losing out the Red Bulls in qualifying.

Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel dominated Saturday's qualifying at the Yeongam circuit as they clinched the 1-2 for Red Bull with Hamilton in third place.

The McLaren driver, though, was 0.227s down on Webber's pole position time.

"Yeah, definitely," was his response when asked if Red Bull had the better car.

"We're very close but they've got some serious pace.

"For us, maybe I had half a tenth in it today; I really ragged the life out of the car so I got absolutely everything out of it.

"But they were a couple of tenths ahead and Sebastian and Mark are both saying they have a little bit more so you don't know whether or not they do but say it's two or three tenths that's quite a lot of time."

But despite the Bulls dominating qualifying, Hamilton is refusing to give up on fighting for the win come Sunday's grand prix.

"Beating the Red Bulls will be about making a good getaway, making all the right strategy calls and not making any mistakes.

"There'll be good opportunity for slipstreaming into the first few corners at the start too.

"I'll be going all-out for the win."
