Sauber are determined to maintain their current run of form, which they hope will help them to overhaul Force India in the standings.
After struggling during the early parts of the season, the Hinwil squad have impressed in the past four races with Nico Hulkenberg and Esteban Gutierrez scoring 38 points between them.
That has helped the team to close the gap to Force India in the Constructors' Championship to just 17 points with four grands prix still to go, and you can get good odds at Paddy Power about their chances for the remaining races.
Team principal Monisha Kaltenborn believes they are in with a chance if they remain focused.
"I think we still have room to improve and it's something which, if we get our act together, if we don't make mistakes, if we continue to be as focused as we are, we have good chances to maybe go further up on our own merit," she said.
"It's equally important to look behind as well as because you don't need much to go wrong in one or two races and suddenly maybe you're somewhere back again where you don't want to be."
What was particularly pleasing for the Sauber team was the performance of Gutierrez in Japan with the rookie finishing seventh to claim his first points in F1.
Kaltenborn feels the work that they have been doing with the Mexican is paying off and is hoping he will continue to finish in the points in the next few races, something that you can bet on at Paddy Power.
"We've seen him improving over the last few races and he's had a really rough start to the season. But I think after the last race, you could just feel that, with his qualifying and his race pace, he is just there," she said.
"It just takes that little bit more for something to explode or open up in him and that's what's happened now.
"It's very important for him because he's been criticised quite a lot. It's of course important for us, not only that we can continue to work with him the way we have - that was the right way, the right approach we took with him."
