Three new arrivals at Williams

Williams' revamping of their engineering department continues with the team confirming three signings ahead of the 2014 campaign.

The Grove-based squad are coming off another disappointing season, but they are determined to turn their fortunes around this year and have boosted their ranks.

Having signed two aerodynamic staff from Red Bull and Lotus before Christmas, the team have now signed three more employees from rival teams.

Jakob Andreasen joins as head of engineering operations from Force India, former Mercedes man Craig Wilson will take up the role of head of vehicle dynamics and Rod Nelson is recruited from Lotus to take over as chief test and support engineer.

Chief Technical Officer Pat Symonds, who only joined from Marussia last year, believes the new recruits will help the team to move forward.

"Williams is determined to make strong improvements in our competitiveness over the coming seasons and these new appointments continue our aggressive approach in recruiting some of the sport's best talent," he said.

"We are also committed to allowing our existing talent to grow and showcase their skills in senior leadership roles. Our engineering team for the coming season is looking strong and I'm excited about what we can achieve moving forwards."
