Gutierrez out of qualifying

Esteban Gutierrez will not take part in qualifying for the Canadian GP after damaging his chassis in final practice.

The Sauber driver crashed out of FP3 after just 15 minutes when he lost control of his C33 on the entrance to Turn 4.

Smacking the wall at Turn 4, the rear left of his car was severally damaged.

Sauber later confirmed that the damage meant the Mexican racer will need to change chassis and he won't take part in the afternoon's qualifying.

The team tweeted: "Bad news: the team has to change the chassis. Esteban Gutierrez will not be able to take part in qualifying."
