Tony Fernandes appears to be close to a Formula 1 exit after the Caterham owner admitted "F1 hasn't worked".
Speculation has been rife in recent months that the Malaysian businessman is ready to offload the team and he added fuel to the fire on Friday by tweeting: "F1 hasn't worked, but love Caterham Cars."
His Twitter account was shut down not long after that.
Fernandes bought the team back in 2010 when they raced under the Lotus Racing guise, but they have struggled to make an impact and have failed to score any points in their four and a bit seasons to date.
Earlier this month reports suggested they won't feature in last weekend's Austrian Grand Prix, but they were on the grid in Spielberg.
However, the rumours are refusing to go away and Fernandes' tweets will only raise more questions.
