The F1 stories that nobody else is running because they are the 'Andrea Moda of authenticity'.

UNITED NATIONS SAYS 'LET'S GO RACING!'
Red faces all round at Autosport after the motorsport industry's flagship publication/website was accused of bigging up the Bahrain Grand Prix. In a report on Monday they started off with the sensational banner headline United Nations Backs Bahrain Grand Prix. A few hours later it had been scaled back to UN Commissioner Backs Bahrain Grand Prix and a few hours after that it had been reduced to Bahrain Grand Prix Secures Fresh Political Backing. Continuing the trajectory downwards by Friday it is expected to read Bloke In Pub Says Bahrain Not That Bad. Suspicions were raised about their coverage earlier in the month when they reported two protestors standing outside the Sakhir circuit with placards that read: "Careful Now" and "Down With This Sort of Thing"*

FERRARI PLAYING CATCH-UP AT BARCA
Fernando Alonso has said that he's still not sure of the potential of his new Ferrari F2012. At Barcelona this week the Spaniard finished behind the Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel yet he was in front of the McLaren of Lewis Hamilton. But while the two rival teams were running race simulations, Ferrari were still experimenting with aerodynamic parts and running sensors. However they are still a lot further down the road than HRT who were absent from the Barcelona test. Paddock rumour had it that the team were still trying to locate the dipstick on their 2012 car.

WURZ TAKES ON MENTOR ROLE
Alex Wurz has rejoined the Williams team "as a mentor" to help the relatively inexperienced driver pairing of Bruno Senna and Pastor Maldonado. Senna was unavailable for comment but Maldonado confessed he'd sooner have Cheryl Cole.

MARTIN 'DAZZLER' BRUNDLE
The new Sky HD channel has been launched at a press briefing in London. While Martin Brundle is used to being in the media spotlight, it's a much bigger stage for the new lead commentator David Croft. 'Crofty', as he is affectionately known, has been the commentator for the BBC's popular darts coverage for the last few years. Speaking at the event he said he'd have no trouble making the transition and that Martin Brundle was just like Mr. Darts himself, 'The King' Bobby George, "only Martin has slightly classier man jewellery - and only two sovereign rings...per knuckle."

HUNT/LAUDA STARTS FILMING
Filming has got under way this week for the new Niki Lauda/James Hunt film produced by Ron Howard. The movie will feature the epic battle for the 1976 World Championship crown and has been scripted by the talented Peter Morgan, the man responsible for Frost/Nixon and The Queen. Newcomer Chris Hemsworth will play James Hunt while the role of Niki Lauda will be played by a 40-year-old tortoise.
