Glock needs medical clearance to race

Timo Glock will be permitted to take part in Sunday's European GP but only if he is cleared by the FIA Medical Delegate.

The Marussia driver missed Saturday's qualifying due to a stomach bug that had plagued him since his arrival in Valencia.

Glock, though, did take part in all three practice sessions and was within the 107 percent rule.

Therefore the FIA have confirmed that he can take part in Sunday's race but first will have to be cleared by the FIA's Medical Delegate.
