Bernie Ecclestone is not about to be sued by the Turkish Motorcycle Federation, according to a spokesperson for the Istanbul Park circuit.
The F1 supremo took control of the circuit earlier this year, safe-guarding the future of the Turkish GP.
However, according to vice chairman of the Turkish Motorcycle Federation Süleyman Memnun, Ecclestone then closed the track to motorcyclists until 2021, prompting claims that he was going to be sued by the TMF.
However, the Istanbul Park Organizasyon has denied these reports.
"We have no knowledge of any such proceedings against us or our chairman," a spokesperson told the official F1 website.
"It is complete nonsense.
"It is correct that MotoGP will not stage a round at Istanbul Park in 2008, because the Championship promoter, Dorna, chose not to renew its contract with TMF which expired this year.
"As far as we know this was Dorna's decision."
