Michael Schumacher is satisfied that Mercedes GP are on track for the year after spending his final day at Jerez.
The seven-time World Champion was in action on Friday for his second of two days, completing 79 laps with a fastest time of 1:21.437.
And although Schumacher's best was over two seconds off the pace of Mark Webber's Red Bull racer, the Mercedes GP driver is confident his team is heading in the right direction.
"That was a conciliatory end of the testing days in Jerez, it was nice finally being able to drive in the dry for some more laps in a row," the German told his website, michael-schumacher.de.
"We are in our schedule but at the same time we are well aware there is still a lot of work ahead of us.
The next stop for Schumacher is the Circuit de Catalunya, which is where the teams will tackle the final test before heading to Bahrain for the opening race of the Championship.
"Barcelona next week will be an important test in this respect for all of us and will give us more information about the performance of our car."
