Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa will not be attending the World Motor Sport Council hearing in Paris on Wednesday.
It had been reported that the pair had been summoned to attend the hearing relating to the use of team orders in July's German Grand Prix, but according to reports in the Daily Telegraph, Ferrari have confirmed that the drivers will not be in Paris but will be available via conference call if necessary.
Ferrari have been brought before the WMSC to answer charges of bringing the sport into disrepute after they allegedly used team orders during the German GP, which are banned from the sport.
The incident in question relates to Massa appearing to let his team-mate pass him after being told by his race engineer Rob Smedley: "So Fernando is faster than you? Can you confirm you understand that message?" An apparent order to move aside for the Spaniard.
In the immediate aftermath of the race, Ferrari were called in by the German race stewards, who fined them $100,000 for using team orders but the Italian team could now face further penalties.
