Super Aguri parts up for auction

Tuesday 8th July 2008

If you're looking to buy a F1 car look no further than the Super Aguri auction site that is putting the team's assets, including a race car, up for sale.

The Japanese team dropped out of F1 after this year's Spanish GP due to insufficient funds. Now three months later the team's assets are up for auction.

Auctioneers SHM Smith Hodgkinson announced on www.saf1-auction.com that they had been instructed by administrators to sell the assets between July 29-31.

'Due to the recent Administration of SAF1, SHM Smith Hodgkinson are proud to announce they will be conducting an online auction of assets by order of Philip Long Esq, Brian Hamblin Esq and Ian Gould Esq of PKF (UK) LLP, Administrators of Super Aguri F1 Limited,' said a SHM statement.

'Interested bidders will get the chance to view all the lots located at SAF1's UK base in Langley, Oxfordshire, then between Tuesday 29th and Thursday 31st July 2008 they are able to register and place bids over the internet via th SHM Smith Hodgkinson website.'

The Super Aguri assets up for auction include a SA06 F1 car, transporters and for those with a bit less cash on hand, a Super Aguri sign.
