Valencia to take on 'Mediterranean' GP nameThursday 28th August 2008Next year's F1 race at Valencia could be run under the 'Mediterranean Grand Prix' name.
This year's race, the inaugural Valencia event, was titled the European Grand Prix, however, next season that name will most likely be used by the Nurburgring as even though the venue is in Germany it doesn't have the rights to the German GP name.
And as there can't be two European GPs in one season, Valencia could use the 'Mediterranean Grand Prix' name.
