Campos driver announcement in ValenciaSunday 5th July 2009Adrian Campos is hoping to announce his first ever F1 driver signing at August's European GP as his team continues preparations for their first season in F1.
Campos is one of three new teams that will be lining up on the 2010 Formula One grid after the FIA opted to extend it to 26 cars.
The team's plans are already in full swing with the team boss revealing that he could announce his first driver as early as next month's grand prix in Valencia.
"I hope to announce one driver at the European Grand Prix in August," Campos told Autosport magazine.
As for his team's first F1 car, which is being built by Dallara and will be powered by Cosworth, the Spaniard confirmed that it will undergo its first wind tunnel test in the coming week.
"The model will be in the wind tunnel for the first time next week," he said. "We have set up a company called Dallara-Campos to build the cars in a new factory.
