The organisers of the Turkish GP could be in hot water with the FIA after GP2 driver Bruno Senna escaped injury whehn he hit a dog that was running on the track.
The accident took place in Sunday morning's GP2 sprint race when the dog, which was one of two that made its way onto the circuit, narrowly avoided being struck by Giorgio Pantano.
However, seconds later Senna was unable to avoid a collision, killing the animal on impact and causing heavy damage to the Brazilian's front-right suspension, putting him out of the race.
Thankfully, though, Senna was unhurt in the accident although the organisers of the race, which takes place at a circuit owned by F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone, will have a lot of questions to answer about the track's security.
The second dog managed to escape unharmed through an exit gate.
