Ferrari have confirmed that the stewards did not question Kimi Raikkonen over why he overtook Lewis Hamilton under a yellow flag when they summoned him after the Belgian GP.
As Hamilton crossed the line to claim an apparent victory in Spa, notification came from the stewards that they were investigating an incident involving cars 1 and 22.
While it was subsequently confirmed that Hamilton was under investigation for cutting the chicane shortly before overtaking Raikkonen's Ferrari, the Finn's own driving came under heavy scrutiny after the race when it was noted that he overtook Hamilton later on the same lap despite yellow flags being waved to indicate that Nico Rosberg had slid off the track.
While Hamilton apparently slowed down, Raikkonen overtook the McLaren which was then required to take to the grass in order to avoid a collision. However, despite the obvious danger of the incident, the stewards deemed it not worthy of their consideration.
Specifically asked by Autosport whether Raikkonen had been questioned over the incident, Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali confirmed: "No, no, no, at least not... when we were summoned we were asked to speak about the manoeuvre at the last chicane between Kimi and Lewis and events after that, so just speak about that."

"Of course FIA won't investigate Ferrari. Which team dares to instiagate an investigation or more importatly pass a crippled Ferrari now? The last time a team ask FIA to investigate got wounded by Ferrari & FIA punishment! The last time a car passed a crippled Ferrari got eggs thrown to its face! Ooops...everyone forgotten! Everyone think FIA is fair....Ha! Its Ferrari Investigative Agency! That why everyteam received penalty from FIA except Ferrari themself!"

"kris1983...i'm impressed! you managed to say all that and in the end declare 'no offense whatsoever'. wow! do you really think kimi purposely drove wide to push hamilton off the track? the conditions were wet and everyone was struggling to drive on the racing line or at least in the middle of the road. as for the sutil incident, do you think he intentionally did that too and sacrifice his own race just for sutil not to finish? you're ridiculous!!! you think you're smart enough to preach about chicanes you can't even distinguish a race incident(sutil) to a result of race conditions(kimi's driving off track) to an actual 'dodgy' overtaking move. i hope i don't have to tell what the last bit refers to."

"well anuj, with all due respect to your technical knowledge, let me tell you something..we also know what a chicane is and why is it put for..just like a chicane, a corner is also put to make sure the cars slow down a little and approaching a corner will give a chance to the driver behind to overtake the one ahead..now, try to recall what kimi did while taking that long left-hander..he completely went off the track and came out just behind lewis coz of higher speed he gained going off the track..so he never even deserved to get that spot from lewis..2ndly, he overtook lewis when there was a yellow flag..he cheated him off his spot..after all this, still lewis proved to be very strong in wets for kimi and tried to overtake him, but what did kimi do in return? just like the great(biggest cheater ever) michael schumacher, he pushed lewis off the track and left him with no room to go, though he was slower and behind lewis entering the corner..and 3rd n finally, in monaco, kimi rammed into poor sutil's force india car which was running so well and was sure to earn its alltime high points' finish..what does FIA(Ferrari International Assistance) do? they declare it as a racing incidence!!! do you need more proof to understand that ferraris are having a clear advantage in formula1, if not on track, off the track!!? cmon, grow up man..dont flaunt your knowledge if your not sure of what your talking about!! the world is not THAT dumb and you alone are not THAT technically sound!! No offense whatsoever!!!!"
