Fastest lap time: Massa does the treble

Felipe Massa pulled off the treble in Brazil this weekend but that did little to stop Lewis Hamilton from winning the World title.

Massa started the Brazilian GP from pole position and led all the way to the chequered flag, setting the fastest lap time in the process, a 1:13.736.

It was a good quarter of a second up of second-fastest man Timo Glock, who ironically didn't have the pace needed to hold of Hamilton on the final lap, thereby costing Massa the title.

Kimi Raikkonen was third quickest ahead of the new 2008 World Champion Hamilton. The McLaren driver's quickest time was only a 1:14.159 but his overall pace was enough to ensure he finished the race in fifth place and in doing to bagged the title.

Jarno Trulli was fifth quickest for Toyota ahead of Heikki Kovalainen and Sebastian Vettel while Fernando Alonso, who finished on the podium, set the eighth fastest lap time.
