World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb was impressed with his first full day testing a F1 car, hailing it as a "great experience."
The Frenchman tested the Red Bull RB4 at Barcelona on Monday as part of a "thank you" from Red Bull for winning the World Rally Championship yet again.
And Loeb didn't waste any time proving that he can find the pace in any machine, finishing eighth out of the 17 drivers in action.
"I don't think I'd like to take this much horsepower into the forests!" Loeb said.
"It was a great experience and I had fun, although I have to say that driving one of these cars is tougher physically than driving my rally car.
"Towards the end of the day, I began to get a good feel for the car and enjoyed the sensation of it moving around on the track.
"I have to say that the level of grip in the high speed corners is very impressive."

"This test promised to be the usual sideshow, but Loeb turned it into a serious demonstration by a Master. All teams with an empty seat (TR!) take note - Loeb has redefined the concept of the "learning curve"."

"TGovender, that's a good idea. I'd like to see all the F1 drivers compete in identical machinery some time too. Maybe chuck in a novelty round. Put them in Ford Escort's or something..."

"Imagine what his times would be if he had three days of testing. He's a sensation is young Seb.He'd hate F1 though, that ugly corporate side of it would surely have those lovely curly locks of his trimmed in a nano second."
