MotoGP Champion Valentino Rossi was back behind the wheel of a F1 car at Mugello on Thursday where the Italian put the F2008 through its paces.
The Italian, known as Il Dottore (The Doctor) to his fans, had the opportunity to drive a F1 car for the first time without traction control.
And the day was a solid one for Rossi, who completed 51 laps around the tight and twisty circuit. His best time was a 1:22.5.
Rossi will continue running at Mugello on Friday.
