Valentino Rossi says he felt "like a real Formula One driver" when he tested for Ferrari at Mugello this past week.
The reigning MotoGP World Champion was in action at the Italian circuit for the second successive day on Friday, where he got to experience both dry and wet running.
While the morning session took place in dry but cool conditions, showers fell in the afternoon with bad light limiting Rossi's running to 57 laps with a best time of 1:24.04.
"The test went quite well," said the Italian.
"Unfortunately I could just go out for a couple of laps on a dry track in the morning, but we also tried it on the wet track.
"I was impressed and it went well. The car is fantastic and all in all it was a good test.
"I want to thank the guys from the team and obviously Luca di Montezemolo and Stefano Domenicali, who were really committed over the last two days.
