McLaren have confirmed that their 2009 challenger, the MP4-24, will be launched on January 16th at the team's Technology Centre.
McLaren won this year's Drivers' Championship title with Lewis Hamilton and are hoping to go one better next season by also clinching the Constructors' title.
Both Hamilton and his team-mate Heikki Kovalainen will be present at the launch in Woking as will team boss Ron Dennis and McLaren CEO Martin Whitmarsh
Matt Bishop, McLaren head of communications and public relations, told Autosport: "It won't be a lavish affair of the type we staged in Valencia two years ago, but it'll be slick and professional and there will be an interesting twist to the format."

Perhaps Lewis is going to win driving backwards in 2009?"
