Rain is forecast for much of the German Grand Prix weekend, with the worst expected during Sunday's race.
According to the meteorologists, the F1 drivers and teams will face showery conditions as they conclude their preparations on Thursday with an ambient temperature of 15'C expected.
And it won't be much better on Friday with light showers forecast and a high of only 14'C. The same conditions are expected on Saturday.
Sunday's race, though, could see the worst of the weekend's weather as heavy rain is predicted throughout the day with a maximum temperature of 18'C.
The weather could play havoc with Bridgestone's tyre allocation as the manufacturer has opted to bring the medium and super soft compounds to the Nurburgring.
However, Hiroshi Yasukawa, the director of Bridgestone motorsport, says they are prepared for all conditions.
"Last time we visited this circuit there was a very exciting wet weather race. The location of the Nurburgring, in the Eifel region of Germany, does often present unpredictable weather," he said.
"The time of year should mean quite hot weather, but we have previously seen quite cool temperatures there, even in the summer.
"When we look back on Bridgestone's history at the Nurburgring, we've even seen snow on a DTM race weekend in April, so we never know quite what to expect!"

"morgandude, I do appreciate that fact. I hope that Brawn in the 3 week lay off may have addressed this situation with getting heat into their tyres when it's a cool or wet day. We shall see."

"20c this week won't mean the same for the BGP001, more breaking means more heat in the tyre also they have supersofts this weekend so they should be good even better than RB if they can go longer on them. Also will be interesting to see the affect of Geoff Willis departure from Red Bull how they manage to deal with that over the next few races.."

"So even the German weather is their fault? LOL Remember that they made formula one what it is, without them you would be sat with your thumb in your Erky on a sunday afternoon. I don't love Bernie and Max, nor do I hate them, they are who they are and do what they do, no more no less. anyway, it'll be interesting to see who has the speed in the wet this weekend, don't think it'll be Brawn, Red bull are looking good without even turning a wheel. Brawn will have to work hard to understand their car in a wet environment, they should use this weekend for testing and damage limitation."

"f1billy the McLaren is shed of a car, and a wet race isn't going to make a difference to its performance!, if anything, all its going to do is, make an already twitchy, nervous car worse!"
