Vitantonio Liuzzi must've felt like a kid receiving candy for the first time when he tested slick tyres at the Circuit de Catalunya on Tuesday.
Liuzzi described the slicks as "amazing" after he had his first "taste" of the slicks in Barcelona.
The Italian last drove slicks while he was racing in F3000 in 2004.
"It's been amazing, because I didn't expect the tyre to be so strong," the Force India test driver told Autosport.
"I think they brought a softer compound compared to what they used in the previous test and they are amazing for the first two laps.
"We were running with the 2009 configuration with a lot less down force. I think it's 40% (less down force). We took away floor, sidepods, bodywork, everything.
"It was a really good feeling. With so much grip it was like going back to go-karts. I enjoyed it."
